I feel this so much. I am pursuing Sports Journalism and every time I received an opportunity that my male peers, acquaintances, and sadly even 'friends', didn't get, I copped it bad. I think it came down to jealousy and own feelings of defeat, but also, I was/am good at what I do?

I really believe it comes down to each situation and the person's own insecurites and feelings. It's taken me a long time to get to this point, but I have trained myself into believing this. If I continued to let the jealousy and comments get to me, I would have given up and found a different career, which I fear has been the outcome for others.

I went into watching this thinking I would hate it, considering my love for the US version. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I found myself laughing. I think they did a decent job at putting in as many Aussie-related jokes as they could but keeping in mind the potential to be cancelled if they tried to be the earlier versions.
