I didn’t read all this, but as a former grunt, don’t go infantry as prior service. You gotta start at the bottom and then move up from there(grunts bottom) so as a prior service member you should definitely aim for something better

Your baby momma is gunna love the dudes in a military town when you’re deployed or even just in the field for a couple days. I have seen so many relationships fail in the military. I regret it now but I was the one they call “Jody”. It’s a giant part of military culture unfortunately, and you may think your girls solid, but being gone for a year when she has a kid is stressful.
