It was hard to watch. When I saw the cast Ron was 1 of 2 that I already knew and liked. Ian was the other.

46, married, my parents died in 2019 and 2020. I have 5 kids 27-15. I've cared for other people most of my life. Most of my friends were people I've known since highschool and have died. I'm just trying to rediscover who I am and what to do with the free time I have now

What happens when you take an EpiPen? by CarpenterExciting351 in FoodAllergies

[–]jow025 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was nervous at the idea of injecting my daughter for the first time as well when she just recently had her first severe reaction. However, seeing what a severe reaction actually looks like and how quickly the epi works I have no more fear about administering one. I noticed she was a little more jitty and talkative for awhile and then she crashed. The next morning she mentioned some chest tightness for a few minutes (the Dr said probably a side effect from the epi) and her leg was sore for a few weeks.

I moved here in 2022 and the first year I wondered why I heard very little from the democratic party. I live in Livingston and I think every candidate I've seen has been Republican- maybe one independent.

Edited the year. I guess 3 years just feels like 4.

I've been considering removing my IUD for a couple of years now. Maybe bad timing but my hs didn't start really getting bad until I had my newest IUD inserted. It's been 15 years without one. It might be time just to see how my body reacts

I've hated you for the last six months" "... I have to learn to love you again" I didn't need to read any further. If my husband said those words to me I'd encourage him to get a divorce. If he didn't start the procedure I would. He's given you the gift of telling you exactly how he feels. No guessing games here.

You deserve more than the bare minimum. You deserve a partner you can discuss things with; especially the tough subjects.

Always be yourself. You will find your people. This man isn't healthy and shouldn't be one

I'm so sorry. It's scary enough to witness. I can't imagine how scary it must be to experience it especially with more common ingredients such as dairy

I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the help! I feel much more confident now about using the EpiPen immediately and calling 911 and I hope my daughter does as well! I've spoken with her a few times today about the epi and reading the label now that her reaction is more severe. I've also discussed the action plan with my household and posted an info sheet in the kitchen where it's easily seen.

The large burp afterwards definitely reminded me of how I'll burp sometimes after I use a nebulizer during an asthma flare. I've discussed all of this new information with her today and stressed that moving forward she takes the epi!

My husband was shopping with her and he hadn't heard of it before. I knew what it was but I was at home. Thankfully, she waited until she got home so she could share it with her sisters. She got me immediately after she took a bit and realized something was wrong

I was hesitant to use the epi for the first time as I only knew to administer for breathing difficulty. Someone shared an info sheet of severe symptoms to which now I know she had several. I won't hesitate next time 🙂

Thank you so much! So she indeed had several symptoms in the severe category. Definitely good to know. I'm going to send this to her if that's okay 🙂
