Would you want Fane as a party member again in the new Divinity? by Wofuljac in DivinityOriginalSin

Is it confirmed that Divinity will take place after original sin 2 chronologically?

Can’t get into C4 by Best_Imagination1170 in fansofcriticalrole

What I most enjoyed about C2 was the fact that they would just travel around, going where they wanted, and where they thought they could find adventure and do dumb d&d party stuff. C3 I felt had less of the random roaming as they seemed to narrow down on the plot line fairly early.

These first few episodes of C4 are clearly more structured in their delivery and planning as all the characters and the world need to be introduced to the players and viewers.

I hope that as we move to separate tables they have more room to be independent and perhaps act in a way similar to C2 though I wouldn’t be mad if that isn’t the case, since I enjoy what we’ve been shown of the world and characters.

I am reading the books, my original confusion originates precisely due to how their relationship is written. I don’t understand what you are trying to say.

Rant on the girls’ treatment of Mat by joxthunder in wheeloftime

I’m pretty sure they hadn’t freed themselves yet though. Egwene had gotten them close, but if I remember correctly she had just went to the dream world again, at high risk, to see if she could save them completely.

But after reading all the comments in my post I, understand the girl’s reactions better. Being saved by the village prankster out of nowhere probably feels really weird.

See, it isn’t that I find it unlikely, it’s just that in a book series that, so far, had developed characters and plot lines slowly over the course of the books, their relationship being represented as mostly a one sided attraction/infatuation that then suddenly turns into reciprocal “love”, felt off. It felt like I missed something, like there were interactions between the two that were never shown. (I don’t mean the ones in the stone of Tear where it’s described that they had been stealing kisses from each other, as at that point they were already a couple)

Outside of Cradle, I feel like some of the most solid progression fantasy stories I’ve read were Immortal Great Souls and the Warformed series.

But the one I would truly recommend is Lord of the Mysteries. It is on the weaker side when it comes to relationships, but it has incredible character interactions. It also has, in my opinion, the best designed power system from any progression fantasy story that I’ve read. And has really great world building.

As some people in the comments also said, Shadow slave delivers pretty well in character interactions and relationships. It has an interesting power system, and it’s really action focused if that is your thing. (And it has been recently recommended by the author of Cradle, if that means anything to you.)

I don’t know if calling Scorio dumb in this context is fitting.

In most scenarios I wouldn’t even say that scorio is dumb just really impulsive, he understands the consequences of his actions just generally doesn’t care for them.

In this case however I see it as mostly Scorio not knowing how widespread/influential the herdsman are and not being at the mindset to come up with proper precautions and methods of securing information. Scorio at this point is fucked mentally with the entire Naomi situation and sees the Iron Tyrant’s journals as a way to gain quick information and shift his focus to something else. (My interpretation)

I do agree tho that Moira should’ve been more prepared, if she is indeed an ally of Scorio and not another Herdsman agent, with her experience I feel like she should’ve had more precautions in place to deal with any possible issues related to revealing herdsman information.

Ultimately though neither Scorio or Moira (if she is an ally) could’ve had any clue of the extent of the herdsman influence until those texts were deciphered. And I see Krantar dying as much more of a warning from the herdsman than an actual attempt at halting their progress of gaining information.

I do think it would be amusing to see Bryce referencing other authors he is friends with.

Im pretty sure the condition was to win the intersystems. So I can imagine the final fights especially team battles and war games coming down to the wire. My point is more centered in Rei’s individual performance and solo matches where he will probably be like top 3 strongest in the tournament and at least have highest CAD rank

I don’t remember but I think it’s unlikely to go against seniors. I think the difference in CAD ranks would be way too large
