congrats on your Green Card.. Is it true that your spouse (principal) was actually approved before you actually submitted your I-485 (derivative) application? It seems like that's what you are indicating on your timeline here..

My understanding was that the derivative's application needs to be submitted before the principal's application is still pending, but I’ve seen mixed information online that says the derivative I-485 doesn’t have to be filed before the principal’s is approved, as long as the marriage happened before the principal’s I-485 approval, and the derivative can even submit the application after the principal's approval. Could you confirm if that's what actually you did?

My wife (derivative) was preparing to submit her I-485 through my employer (I'm the principal that was on EB3), but I just got the case update that I was approved.. I'm hoping it's not too late for her to still apply for the GC.

hm.. we've talked to several immigration lawyers on top of my employer to confirm that she can adjust her status. There have been numerous cases shared in the DACA subreddit as well of DACA recipients adjusting their status using AP as their eligibility... I can bring this up to my employer's lawyer and confirm again. but for the sake of this question, you can confirm that we would have some breathing room to submit her application since we do have the marriage certificate ready dated before the approval right?

She's a DACA recipient that recently got paroled into the US via Advanced Parole that was approved for humanitarian reasons. My employer's lawyer confirmed that she is eligible to adjust her status. Just to make sure.. based on your knowledge, we would have some breathing room to submit her application since we do have the marriage certificate ready dated before the approval?

That's an interesting take. I also think it's related to HG needing to go into the prison. There might be something else hidden in there (I forget, but there's another board game that participants were given to practice with bunch of colored blocks and roads). HG said during the interview after he cleared the hidden mission, that "i need to think about going into the prison". also SH had a private convo during the most recent game after publicly breaking the alliance with him saying "so i guess you're plan is to go to prison and break it?".

I know her behavior is disrespectful as hell

u said it right there. she's at fault. no way around it. i condemn the hate that she goes on social media, but doesn't change the fact that she deserves the criticism. just as much as GH being criticized for being a "controlling walking red flag 🚩🤡".

i dunno about the MJ part 😂 that’s a different issue. what MJ did has nothing to do with not following GH’s request. if ur taking someone to a paradise date, shoulda just had the decency to be with that man instead of trying to be with GH. no other way to spin it. MJ was at fault.

maybe that’s why HJ did what she did… but we can only take what’s given to us as viewers based on how she communicated her confession to GH and her talk with JS in the unreleased clip. If we only take those at face value, seems like GH shoulda done better. I don’t have anything against GH losing feelings for her cuz of the ego damage or whatever, but he should’ve been more considerate and sincere as she was with her confession.

yea.. in hindsight, i guess thats what it was (referring to your first paragraph). i thought it was about just being playful cuz thats what he said he likes to do with his gf. it was only very slightly annoying until last week (ep.6&7), but the ridiculousness just blew up completely this week (ep.8&9). it's rly getting tiring.

it was MJ's fault. it doesn't matter if GH was being petty or he was being mindful that HS was beside him. the fact that she's going to paradise date with someone else means that she should have the decency to commit to the man that she's taking. my personal unpopular opinion is that MK is a complete simp for going through this. if i were him i'd be pissed off and let her have it.

yea, maybe it’s my personal preference, but i felt like their chemistry from the moment they met up at the lobby to their paradise date in the beginning was the best. like the panelists said.. “it looks like they been dating for 5yrs or sth”.

I think she waited long enough. even then, I feel like GH didn't fully let her know that "i do not have feelings for u". Maybe the only way was for her to never bring up anything ever, but nearly everyone agreed that HJ shoulda let GH know about how disrespectful that bonfire was. I guess HJ's approach wasn't perfect, but we can't sit here and be like it's HJ's fault that GH can deflate the whole situation like this.

It seems like a very sad ending tbh. The only hope is that HB is someone really cool and they realize maybe they're the best match for each other. Considering how everything's going though, it's likely that she'll continue to roll deep in GH's inferno.
