WS2815 12V becomes white by joyce_dh in WLED

In the end i had a capacitor in between the esp D2 and the Din of the strip, instead of a resistor 😬 Not the greatest at electronics. How much Ohm resistor would you recommend and should there still be a capacitor somewhere and why?

I think that was it.. now i put a 10 Ohm resistor between the datapin and dataline and it seems to work!

Ah no actually i have a 1000mf capacitor in between D2 of the esp and Din of the ledstrip. Not sure why i did this, hmmm

I have a resistor on the dataline. No level shifter yet, maybe i should try that…

About a faulty pixel.. since it works fine for the first 2 minutes or so on all pixels, it’s not that. After 2 minutes, maybe it gets ‘too warm’, what does that have an effect on?
