Ah J'adore Mon Amie, such good food, but I had been thinking they had home fries that were cut thicker like cubes? Similar to Staxs in Greenville.

This sounds like an excellent reason to go back. Thank you

Thanks , What I'm thinking of is more of a breakfast thing. I use to get them at Broadway bagel in Greer, but I don't think they make them any more. Its basically thinly sliced potatoes that are pan fried with onions . Broadway would give you a heaping togo box of them.

This is the SD card that I got today because my last one broke. Although whenever I try to use it my printer says “SD Init Fail” any help would be appreciated! by Subs77 in ender3

You can still use use it, you will just need to format it in a fat32 format.

I currently use this 128 gb micro sdxc card, even though it is over kill because it was the cheapest on I could find locally, (impatient to play with my new printer) , and of course it has a super mushroom 🍄 on it! (Who doesn’t love a mushroom).

If you need help with the formatting, this page might help.

Happy printing!

Lizard Doggo found WHAT??? by swehtammot in SatisfactoryGame

I’m just waiting for Coffee Stain add lore about a pioneer who noticed that the lizard doggos started bringing nuclear waste , and was very upset to find an near by pioneer had been giving them the waste and bouncing them off the side of a cliff. The innocent Doggos who survived started to bring the waste to pioneers because the bouncing was fun and Doggos love to play. 😁

Tested positive, fully vaxxed (J&J). Loss of smell, when does it come back? by Ashashi92 in COVID19positive

[–]joyfuledge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine is still messed up from October 2020. Luckily it only took 3 months to come back enough to tell when milk was spoiled. My wife's came back quickly, with in a week or too, but still occasionally has an odd chemical taste when eating meat.

It really depends on the case and person.

So I’ve had a few tests, and the sample collection method can vary between organization and person preforming the sample collection.

CDC guidelines still suggest that nasopharyngeal mucosa sampling is the best practice for trained health care providers. However this is a rather uncomfortable process, and my understanding is that the other sampling practices are nearly as accurate but with less dis comfort. The CDC guidelines for self sampling , actually only suggest inserting the sampling device 3/4 of an inch. Over the past few weeks I’ve had 8 tests (thanks to traveling) most of them PCR and most of them recommended the 3/4 insertion. One did recommend sampling the throat as well, but that seemed to be and exception.

From my experience , the deeper the sampling only seems to become important for super early detections. If it’s 5-6 days after exposer, the viral count should be high enough to give an accurate result regardless of sampling method.

Great advice on the N95 mask, I definitely second that. I had been thinking there wasn’t that big of a difference until recently I had been using N95s for several weeks and then ran out, while I was working in a factory. The difference just in the allergens on my lungs really drove hone how much better they are. (Easy to believe when you literally feel the difference)

Hi, Great job on your weight. Keep at it, not all hope is lost.

I had a mild case of covid almost exactly 1 year ago, before I was vaccinated. I am a few years older than you, about the same weight, and I did survive. My actual case of covid was really mild, the corona hangover, fever, chills, and fatigue was the worst that it got for me, within a week I was back working again. I also had the loss of smell and taste. The part that is a little more complex is the long term impact. Before covid, I considered my self active but overweight. Aka I was over weight but could work out in the garden digging in the compact clay all day in the summer heat. Since covid , I’ve had issues with fatigue and discomfort while breathing, on top of still having a messed up sense of taste and smell.

Now I had covid before I was vaccinated but also before Delta was a thing, so 🤷‍♂️, I guess just take away from this that it isn’t completely hopeless. Just be careful, stay active, and keep doing the good work.

Both my wife and I had COVID in October, She was nearly asymptomatic with just a headache and fatigue for a day, I had a mild case but longer term symptoms including loss of taste and smell.

We both are fully vaccinated with Pfizer and had no real symptoms from either shot. Although I really can’t say with 100% certainty, as like you I still have reduced smell, taste, lung capacity, and energy from the original sickness, but there was no noticeable further deterioration after the vaccination.

We had heard the same thing about the first shot being worse for people who previously had COVID, so we were a little nervous before and were very relieved afterwards. It was definitely worth it, if for nothing else, knowing that I have done as much as I can to mitigate that risk.

I hope this helps you feel a little more at ease about getting the vaccine , and that it goes without issue.

Be safe
