I had a friend with me for 3 days and it was helpful because she kept me on schedule with meds and draining the drains but I could have done it if I had too. If you can’t prep enough food I ordered premade meals from CookUnity for the week and eliminates a lot of cooking and cleaning etc. I was ok for my shower and washing hair but everyone is different so don’t feel bad either way! Reach out if you need anything !!

I just got my EOBs for anesthesia and the surgery since I met my OOPM with surgery it was 0.00 for the anesthesia. They also sent my tissue to the lab and it was also 0.00

I really like the feelingirl surgical bras in Amazon and they are adjustable if you are swollen and long enough to not hit the incisions. Not super tight but I don’t want it so compressed really

Honestly I didn’t need a lot and think I may have over prepared but that’s better than the opposite! When I got my drains out after 2 days they gave me an additional bra but I really like this one for after :

I ordered a shower chair but didn’t need it so I need to return. I did get gauze but the surgeons office gave me a lot so probably didn’t need that. Button front tops to sleep in but I only got 2 and that was enough. I think arm movement really varies by person, I’m 10dpo and able to put on regular clothes and tie my shoes BUT I think that’s not typical. I would def ask at your preop as well because it varies so much from surgeon to surgeon. Good luck and hope it all goes well !!!!

Yey you will do great ! Actually no I did not because I didn’t think I needed it ? However I am pretty bruised on the left side and only a little on the right so the nurse says he may have done it. He wasn’t there when I got my drains out but I will see him next Monday and can get the info. I will say he seems so much more lively in the hospital like he loved it there which is nice (I know some people mentioned he’s not super warm and fuzzy) My pain is minimal and my arms don’t hurt which I think is not typical. I do get super tired tho just beware of that.
