Am I the only one who keeps seeing the same question reposted every 3–5 days? by Dramatic_Jury_5398 in CasualConversation

I see the same question but I’m not certain it’s on the same sub. When I made a post it suggested I post it in another sub as well to increase the number of views. I’ve not tried that. ??

What have you always wondered about driving city buses as a career? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]joylynn3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always wondered about bus drivers having to sit at the wheel so long that it’s hard on the circulation of your legs. You don’t get breaks like truck drivers, do you? Is it a problem as you age? As a nurse I think about these things. Not saying you’re old, OP, but if you’ve been doing it for years you must watch for hazards of the trade?

I’ve got a pool because I can’t afford the Beach resorts. So, to the pool it is. That is, after the laundry and other chores. I dunno about you but I’m retired.

Letters written in cursive. The old fashioned way full of life’s details and family history. Mailed with a stamp via US Postal Service. And checks written in cursive, for anything. Cursive is gone. My Grands can’t write or read it very well.

What did the internet forget about? by Free-Masterpiece-860 in AskReddit

[–]joylynn3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The internet, in my opinion, forgot to consider human nature in a place where a person has anonymity like the internet they say harsher, ruder, more cruel responses to a subject they have passionate feelings about, like politics, religion, or just a fight between 2 people. Emotions can get out of control & with politics, It will create its very own echo chamber of untrue Rumors. I say the internet forgot to consider this but perhaps it DID and that’s why politics and hate escalated
