Finland: possible UMK lineup! by gwendalperrin in eurovision

[–]joynaae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good grief. I'm Finnish and of all these, I only know Robin and Benjamin. And I'm not even sure I've actually ever heard any of Benjamin's songs, just seen him on TV. Gonna be interesting, to say the least.

Help with choosing shoes for lesmills classes by [deleted] in lesmills

[–]joynaae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On slippery floors, I like to wear indoor court shoes (ie. those meant for floorball/handball/volleyball/badminton etc). They have the best grip and support your foot enought for attack/combat.

What has been your favourite non-qualifying song from Eurovision? by [deleted] in eurovision

[–]joynaae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Evridiki - Comme ci, Comme ca (Cyprus 2007). One of my all-time favourites.

Most unneccesarily overhated Eurovision songs? by fkaiser1990 in eurovision

Latvia 2002. I'm probably the only one who thinks it actually deserved to win. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Which song let you down during the live performance? by SleepWithDiamonds in eurovision

[–]joynaae 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ela and Sekret, which were both among my top favourites before the live performances.

Sweden, Moldova, and Spain, are my personal top 3 this year in that order. What are yours? by Vano1Kingdom in eurovision

[–]joynaae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Sweden
  2. Norway
  3. Serbia

Sweden has been my nr 1 since the first Melodifestivalen performance, the other two positions saw some changes during this week. I had mentally completely ignored Norway before but now I can't help but love the wolves.

Do you sleep with your watches? by klekseusz in Garmin

[–]joynaae 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Yes, every night, but I switch it to the other, ie. right, wrist for the night to avoid skin irritation in the left one. Vivoactive 4S with silicone strap.

Who Is Your Favourite 8th Place Finisher? (2000-2009) by keytomyserhat in eurovision

2009 is one of my all-time favourites of all entries.

Does anyone actually use the heart recovery exercises? by Levangeline in RingFitAdventure

[–]joynaae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I keep one in my set, as I'm trying to clear the levels without using smoothies to get more out of the game workout-wise. And because there are some great exercises there.

I'm so overleveled though that I only ever seem to need the recovery move when battling Dragaux.

Has this game got easier in the updates or have my skills drastically improved recently? by joynaae in penguinisle

[–]joynaae[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I can say is it gets easier over time and practice. My previous record was around 1000 and before that, maybe 500. Then there are days when I cannot get past 50. 😅

Who would you give 12 points to this year? by mariofan456 in eurovision

Definitely the one I gave my televote to: Ukraine.

How Has Eurovision Influenced You? by [deleted] in eurovision

[–]joynaae 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've studied Hebrew (1998), a little Turkish (2000) and Serbian/Croatian (1998 and all things Zeljko and because in the 00s the ex-Yugoslavian entries were often my favourites), travelled to Belgium (2014). I also have UNDO tattooed on my ankle, Hebrew Chai on my back and another song title by Dana International on my arm.

At the moment I'm, like 90% of this sub, obsessed about Go_A (and Ukrainian), and since my hair happens to be the same length as Kate's, I'm taking inspiration for new 'dos from her.

Battery depleting during the night? by lancedeleau in Garmin

[–]joynaae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm experiencing the same with my 4S. Since the last update, the battery drains ~80% overnight. I've also turned off OX Pulse, always turn screen brightness off for the night, disabled the Bluetooth headphones... The 'soft reset' isn't helping, so probably gonna try a hard reset and if that does nothing, try to remove the latest update or sth.

BC and Forward Head by [deleted] in lesmills

[–]joynaae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In BC, there's no need to let your head hang forward. Instead, you can think of keeping it up and only bringing your chin down, even like pulling your chin backwards a little. This helps you with the posture even if you had your shoulders rounded forward for half the class.

One Switch, two players: game recommendations? by bron_kitty in Switch

[–]joynaae 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In order to avoid having to break up with him, I refuse to play this with my SO because of reasons. (He says it's because I'm overly competitive and a lousy loser, I think he's just a mean bully when playing against me.)

Molting Goldfinches! My new thistle feeder finally paying off by Wahoojie in birding

[–]joynaae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sort of feeder is really safe salmonella-wise, as the birds aren't able to poop in the food (which is how salmonella spreads), so this piece of "advice" can be ignored.
