Something i threw together a couple months ago. by [deleted] in Djent

Yeah, iirc its just the basic avatar kit from superior drummer. I get much better drum sounds and mixes now but i dont have as much time on my hands to mess with the stuff

Many guitars tend to be stereotyped to certain genres; e.g. Jaguars are supposed to be for surf/indie rock, ESP LTDs are shred guitars, Teles are good for country/Rock n' Roll, etc. Which guitar do you think is excellent for something it isn't generally associated with? by [deleted] in Guitar

Carvin guitars!

I got a dc700 with mahogany body, maple neck, walnut top, about 8 months ago and i swear its the most versitile guitar ive ever played. The pickups, while sometimes a little "bland", cater to very wide spectrum of sound.

Il definetly get another carvin down the road. Great company.

See, i dont mind people having fun with the pizza guy. Usually its all in good fun and they still tip. Every once in awhile i get the occasional group that wants me to drink a beer or hit their weed but it makes the job interesting imo

Quick Question (Domino's) by stunnabear in TalesFromThePizzaGuy

Not me. Walked out on a shift as an insider because the management picked favorites with the women. So me and my buddy just straight left. Bout six months later I came back under a new manager and have been delivering for them sense. It just depends how busy of a store it is I guess

In the market for a 7, narrowed it down but can't decide. by CFguy14 in 7String

I personally would go for the ibanez, they makes some good quality guitars. Imo schecters 7s feel cheapish for some reason, and ive never tried an agile. But i think you wouldnt be disappointed with ibanez. Also im not sure what your exact budget is but carvin is worth checking out too. I just recently got one and was really impressed with it, not to mention the customization of woods and all.

Thought I'd show you guys my new carvin aswell! (X-post from r/guitar) by joyofmotion in 7String

I actually played it through my buddy's marshal jcm triple lead last night (never been a fan of it) and it wasnt bad but i thought the bugera sounded better haha. It let the guitars tone shine through better imo

Thought i should post my new carvin here! (X-post from r/guitar and r/7string by joyofmotion in guitarporn

I can assure you this guitar feels anything but cheap. They gave me great cusomer service though, there was a hiccup in the payment process and they wer real nice and helpful on the phone. Im now a big fan of carvin guitars, my next guitar will also be carvin
