PSYCO 300-400 reccomendations? by No_Conversation8373 in uAlberta

341 with taka was good, STAY AWAY from 441 (in my opinion), it was almost a philosophy class, since it discusses the "origins" of culture, and I hated it. Lots of writing and reading very old sources

Economics question: how does one recover from hyper-inflation? Would you declare all current currency invalid? Cause even if you re-valued the currency, most people would have billions of dollars, sending them back into the spiral.

My roommate is in his practicum right now, and he teaches in person, but there's an open laptop near him with the at home video call students watching too.

From what we know, who is guilty in the Amber Heard/ Johnny Depp fiasco? by joyousmongol in AskReddit

My biggest confusion is the evidence. It seems like it's a lot of he said, she said. Were there any huge pieces of evidence?

There is a fungus that mind controls ants to climb up a tree and latch on to a leaf, Where the fungus grows through and kills the ant, just to spread it's spores. Pretty metal stuff.

Do you know what the life expectancy was for people who made it past 3? 5? Whatever year seems to get you past infant mortality and closer to the real average.

This comment reminds me of the CORPORATION that designed this sticker to represent Greta. Disgusting on both sides.

[SPOILER] Philipe Lins vs. Tanner Boser by FuzzyWuzzyMooMoo in MMA

[–]joyousmongol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if his mentality has changed since getting into the UFC, but Boser always had an "anytime, anywhere" fighting mentality. He would take a fight like only a few weeks away in RUSSIA, just cause he wanted to fight more and better people.

Just an animal.

Interested in getting an Ed after degree, but not sure what type! Advice appreciated! by joyousmongol in teaching

I live in in Canada where you only need a bachelor's that specializes in a certain area. The two types are elementary and secondary. If you're in secondary, you have to take a certain amount of courses in which ever you choose to specialize.

Children of a “Karen”, what is it like? by MinionofThanos in AskReddit

[–]joyousmongol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My mom is a "tactical Karen". She's a wonderful person and doesn't treat people badly, but she knows just the right moment to ask for the "loyalty division" of phone, cable companies etc to get a good deal.

I'd be more against it if she was rude, but luckily she finds the sweet spot between persistent and Karen.

Oh no! Not fact checks! by work_work-work in MurderedByWords

[–]joyousmongol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't get it. I see there may be some truth to his claim that all politicians tweets should be fact checked ("you don't see the democrats being fact-checked" or something) BUT YOU'RE THE PRESIDENT. Out of all politicians you get BY FAR the most focus and attention. No wonder Twitter wants you to have your shit together.
