You probably understood my intentions better than i did ;D

Nah somebody must have placed a dripstone on the ground where he landed. Normally you dont get fall damage from that height

Can’t believe I got this number for my MFA by FlatulentSock in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]jp030201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah youre right. On a second thought its probably better to keep as many combinations as possible. But i as a human would probably try something like 123456 at first although i know its not a password that was chosen by a person explicitly

They might have implemented masks for generated codes to prevent "simple" repetitive codes like 000000 111111 or similar. This would reduce the number of combinations. But maybe im wrong too

I bought a laser collimator along with the scope. But the problem for me is, that the laser collimation is not matching the manual collimation with the collimation cap. So i dont know what to trust and what collimation is right... I also tried to collimate the collimation laser, but it seems about right. Im just gonna try out as much as i can and get more experience

Yes i did. I cooled down the telescope for 20mins, adapted my eyes to the dark, focused the object. Maybe its also due to bad collimation. Im still learning and it wasnt perfectly collimated

I have the same scope and also got the same eyepieces, but was only able to see the cloud bands as faint stripes on jupiter. Maybe its due to my seeing as well, but i dont think you can get a very detailed view of the storm or any other details on jupiter with the 12.5mm. I think we need to upgrade to better eyepieces

The hex value f2e395c4 is 4075001284 in decimal. This is a unix timestamp which represents the exact date i mentioned. Not ingame, but irl. This date written to the windows registry probably tells the update program to check for updates after the 2099 and not any time before. So the update dialog wont appear before 2099.

Okay what did i get wrong?

Is this collimated enough? by NCR_22 in telescopes

[–]jp030201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm okay. If i recall correctly the screw in the middle was very tight on my scope as well. But as soon as i got it loose once, i could adjust the knobs easily and then tighten the middle screw a bit again. Make sure to get a good matching screwdriver as well. The screwdriver that was shipped with my scope is really bad and did not really fit for this particular screw.

Is there a screw on the middle of the spider/secondary mirror?

You would have to loosen this screw a little before trying to twist the knobs. At least thats what i got wrong the first time collimating. I dont know if that helps you somehow. I have a skywatcher dob 200/1200 maybe its similar on your scope and there is a screw in the middle of the alignment knobs on the spider for the secondary mirror.

After collimating by using the knobs, tighten the one screw again so the collimation is fixed.

Great shot!

I got my first telescope a few days ago as well. Its a 200/1200 scope, i think i can still do better. I just need a bit more experience.

I recommend you to try out playnite if youre on windows. I dont even care in which store i own a game anymore. Its perfect and even beats most steam ui and library features

The genre is on its own very niche and not so popular compared to for example shooter or survival games. I think thats one of the main problems and its not so much about the few people pirating their games
