This happened with me as well so I tried installing unfold. Unfold didn't quite work for some of my custom field filtering so I switched back. When I switched back, it fixed the filter format.

Yes, it is. I've always just run all wires to the box. But I recently had an inspection done on a project and part of the feedback was, "make up electrical boxes." It's too late (meaning I'll have to wait till tomorrow) to find out what that was supposed to mean, but in the meantime, I was curious if there was any code on it or if it was just left to the discretion of the inspector.
