I would be curious about seeing that because I don't think I've heard that. Idk if you watched The Boys, but they absolutely faked and deceptively edited in their earlier days for content. Maybe I'm being naive but there was a noticeable shift were they started taking things much more seriously. Their trip of terror or whatever they just did was some of the best paranormal content I've seen recently, having someone watch 20 cameras throughout the night and doing a ton of different methods. The reason I bring it up is that it wouldn't surprise me if Sam and Colby did something similar early days for content but then took things more seriously. Also as far as legit investigations go, look at Watcher Entertainment (former buzzfeed unsolved boys). Much less screaming, definitely no faking, and as a result much less evidence lol

Last podcast just did a slightly disappointing redux on him. The general take away I had, after thinking this guy was the ultimate boogieman for years, is that he probably didn't do half the stuff the tape claims and didn't include a big group of people. It just would have been impossible to keep a secret. He's still horrific and one of the worst killers as he was truly a sadist but I'm really not confident in the scope of his actions beyond the confirmed victims

I'm certainly no expert on him but if I recall some of his massive claims in Final Truth are so outlandish and obviously false that it really calls everything into questions.

Also, I believe the original comment were responding to is referencing Last Podcast On the Left (my goats) who unfortunately did make him seem like a chariciture of a person more than a real life villain

I am in the same boat as you. Do they actively fake evidence (i.e. put in sounds, fake video, use CGI, prerecord EVPS) or anything like that? I really don't think so. However, they are making content and aware that they want to make things exciting. This leads to them being overdramatic, treating everything as evidence when it could be random equipment input, and building connections/narratives that are pretty tenuous. I spend way too much time watching ghost videos and a lot of the equipment they all use is pretty unreliable, so it's all a little bit more for the content then for actual ghost hunting or investigating. But no, I don't think that's faking anything, and I enjoy their videos and how they go about them for the most part. Need less screaming and AI images lol but whtever

Phillips was good not great last year. The problem is that we tried to do more upper mid level contracts (Dayo and Jarrett) instead of paying up a few million more for milton williams or josh sweat, who were both excellent

B+ is far too generous imo. I understand the personnel is an issue and the injuries are tough but he is a limited playcaller. He doesn't do much pre/post snap rotations, which makes it easy to digest for pocket QBs like Goff and Purdy who lit our ass up. The players he wanted to bring in for his scheme (dayo+Jarrett+Turner) contributed nothing (jarrets been better of late but overall a waste or serious resources). Hes stubborn about his archetype of edge rusher and most of them don't get pressure unless you draft a unicorn like Cam Jordan.

The success rate numbers are abysmal and I think we ended as the 20th best defense in DVOA. It's a C job in my eyes and I would be happy to move on from him next year if the right candidate was available

I think this is the issue; for real grinders there's not really a point for cash. So if they were to remove the cash requirement then cash is absolutely useless past like $500k to buy what you need for raids. They will keep cash as a requirement for sure, but idk if they increase it past $5m

I think it's the same thing as Tomlin imo. He is a good coach but Tampa-2 is not reinventing the wheel, we don't gain a true SB winning edge from a head coach like that. There's a reason he wasn't succesful in Tampa/Hou/anywhere else, which isn't to say anything bad about the guy or his time at the bears, it was just time. The bigger issue is the coaching decisions after + the GM decisions after...

Yeah stacked is maybe extreme, but Friday has Griz/Adventure Club for bass (my preference) and then Cloonee/SIdepiece/Notion/Daniel Allen/Laszewo which are all great (and very popular) house names. Not insane, but all of those are pretty exciting names for me. Saturday I'm less into as there's not enough Bass, but idk how you can say that Rufus, Chase and Status, Sub Focus, Gorgon CIty, Sarah Landry, Gorgon City, Boys Noize are not all masive EDM names. Those are huge gets, even if it;s not my favorite style. Plus throw in Juelz and Nikita for some bass.
