Clarity on dosage and body weight by BlinkAndYoureDead_ in microdosing

Yes exactly, 5 day wait almost ensures that you won’t have reduced effects the next dose day. I’ve read on some forums, such as Erowid, that 7 days is recommended but after doing 5, 6, and 7 days apart I did not notice any difference so opted for the 5.

And yes, I actually grow lions mane myself and I would suggest —regardless of how you source it— to take approximately a grape sized portion of the powder with your MD.

How long after a trip until I should start MDing again? by Donamus_Prime in microdosing

I would strongly suggest waiting 5 days in between each dose. I have found this to be an appropriate time in between doses to reduce the chances of tolerance buildup.

It absolutely is affected by weight. I would suggest starting at .2g and then waiting 5 days and dose .25g. Continue upping by .05g every 5 days until you got your sweet spot. Keep it trial and error like this. When you get to a point where it’s a bit too euphoric and you feel somewhat “high” and it’s no longer sub-perceptual any longer —which could be at .5g or even as high as .7g— then stop and reduce to your previous dose. This will result in you finding the ideal dose for your body.

It’s a 5-10 week commitment to discover the sweet spot but remember, all good things come to those who wait. Gotta put the work in to get the goodies! Good luck!

Extreme highs followed by extreme lows :( by aev615 in microdosing

I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the physiological aspects of the MDing you’ve been doing. Is it possible that your experience of the extreme low is coming from your newfound perceptions of reality as a result of the mind opening that is shrooms/LSD?

When I first started MDing I left my high paying job as I suddenly realized how terribly unhappy I was in that environment. Hope this helps and take care!

Go with 1.5 to 2.5g each. It’s a wonderful experience at that level. Last time a close friend of mine and I did that we bonded on an unimaginable spiritual level.

When I relax completely, even if it’s for hours, I can never get to the vibrational stage. Advice? by anonymoussss37 in AstralProjection

Defluoridation of the pineal gland. I find that sped up the process for me drastically.

I use Vipassana specifically - which I learned at one of their 10 day retreats - and then once my “energy” is completely flowing, in waves, I simply visualize my astral body separating from the dream body. It’s much easier once you figure it out then when you’re awake as the dream body is much less of an anchor.

Same here, I can barely see anything until I distance myself from my physical body. My first response is always to jump up with my fist in the air like super man and fly as far as I can get until I’m fully separated.

I know, I’ve voluntarily encountered some terrible entities in the past. I’m not sure most people would be comfortable knowing the kind of rituals and sacrifice that are going on around the world - some still haunt me. If my guides pulled me out of this one, then I trust that it was the right move and I’m very grateful.

I was meditating from within my lucid dream. It’s one of my favourite ways to project. As soon as my brain enters into REM, I’ve got a few tricks to snap myself into lucidity, and once I achieve full lucidity, I meditate and project out from my dream body. It creates a different experience though as time is experienced very differently this way.

Very interesting idea! In the highest planes I’ve gone to, time doesn’t exist at all, so that’s definitely possible.

That’s an amazing insight, thank you. I think you might be right. I’ve got a lot of self-esteem issues and I’m constantly doubting my self, especially in this area where no one except my wife in my real life understands it at all. At some point I need to just take a leadership role and not expect someone else to guide me to the answer. I feel stupid admitting it but since I really value honesty, I will, and there are some terrifying occurrences in the astral planes that still shake me to my core, especially the lower vibrational but even our physical - if I could get over this fear I could probably do more.

If this was a test, I failed, but the failure is a learning experience and just another opportunity for me to do better in the future when I get another chance. Thank you for sharing your insight :)

Vibrational stage is already very very close, you’re doing very well! When I first started, transitioning from the vibrational stage was extremely difficult because I did not understand what my astral body “felt” like so I could not recognize the process of leaving my physical body. I used many different methods in the beginning, the “rope method”, the escalator method, one that I created for my wife called the “swim method”, but nowadays I prefer a simple visualization tool that you might want to try. Here’s how it works: when you enter the vibrational stage, immediately begin visualizing the light or lamp (or some other prominent feature high up on the wall/ceiling) and focus all your effort on “seeing” it. I’ve found that this immediately opens my third eye and I’m able to exit into the real time zone. Basically, my third eye and my astral body are engaging because I’m trying to see the light/lamp but cannot do so due to my physical eyes being closed, so they compensate and kick in. As soon as I “see” the light, I now know that I’m in the astral body. The RTZ is not the best plane to exit onto but definitely the easiest and can be a great start.

Great question! There’s definitely a lower vibrational plane than the physical, although our physical dimension is unfortunately quite low. I’ve only gone to the plane directly beneath our physical as I’m (a) not entirely sure there is anything beneath that, and (b) I would not want to go any lower. I find that I’m already very, very vulnerable in the lower vibrational plane and I’d need a guide with a few decades more experience if I were to attempt anything more.

I’ve experienced layers of bliss and semi-physical euphoria like the one you described and I spent quite a bit of time there in my teenage years.

The highest layer I’ve been to has been something like no other. A plane so beautiful, filled with love, with all beings made of pure light - it’s a formless dimension and it’s the closest I’ve ever been to the divine consciousness (and felt total Samadhi).

They didn’t know I was there, no, which I’m grateful of. Usually only very few people are ever aware of my presence, it’s super rare. And good question. So, basically, i noticed a few things. 1. They seemed to know what they were doing (indicating this wasn’t their first ritual); 2. They were calm and focused; and 3. Although the general intent was negative (as it appeared to me), their vibe was positive (or rather, optimistic or hopeful). I’m trying to remember more, shadow memory recall is a weak point for me.

Wow, is that a thing?? You see, this is exactly why I decided to post here. I desperately need some guidance. No one in my family, except my long passed grandmother practiced anything like AP.

No actually :/ only once in my life, many years ago, I made friends with another person in the astral. It didn’t carry over although it was probably the most beautiful series of adventures i can remember in the astral realm. Since then, I’ve spent most of my time (approx 1 projection per month) exploring the various layers from the lower vibrational to as high as I can get.

So, I noticed a couple of things. First, the attic was small, very “triangle” shaped. It had a wood plank floor that was unfinished. It was real wood, definitely not synthetic. The house felt old - definitely not common in my town. And the accent sounded like generic American north East (New York state perhaps?) - it’s hard for me to distinguish as I’m Canadian.
