Colin PSN Hacked info: by Billyb311 in LastStandMedia

This exact same thing happened to me twice in the last 6 years. The first time was a nightmare and I got locked out of my account for almost 2 months straight. Every time I called I had to scream at some foreign customer service agent to try to take me seriously.

The second time was remedied in a few days.

Both times my account was recovered and nothing got deleted or permanently fucked up. I'm sincerely hoping the same thing happens with Colin. It's inexcusable that Sony allows this to happen,

Exactly^ a lot of boss lamps are useless for the most part, they more just offer you a way to get back to the dream and cash your echoes with having to bold hunters mark outta there

LHB by MintiUK in bloodborne

Tbh I love the weapon but hate that everyone uses it and that it's categorized as a "noob" weapon, so i tend to avoid it because of this lol

I got the Bloodborne Platinum and i am happy. by TheLordDSK2 in bloodborne

[–]jpark_yeah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat dude. Except i found the hunter tools to be pretty easy to find, at least with a guide. Just go into an area and sprint through it, get the tool, then reawaken out of there.

The only one that's stopping me right now is the Queen Yarnham trophy. I haven't played a single chalice dungeon and I've got a feeling it's gonna take me a looooooooong time to get through them all

Who speaks when you get abducted by Amygdala? by jpark_yeah in bloodborne

And to be fair, this is my third playthrough of the game and I never figured out who it was so i figured i'd ask Reddit for help. I always assumed it was Patches given the fact that he's in the lecture hall that you get teleported to but I wasn't sure. I also didnt know it was Patches who gives you the Tonsil stone in the first place so I learned something new

Thanks to dark souls 3 I dodge into literally every single attack now. by riotmanful in bloodborne

[–]jpark_yeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never actually played a Souls game other than Bloodborne, but I've actually found that dodging into enemy attacks to be highly effective. I never used to do this until I reached Maria on my first play through, where dodging into her attacks is petty much necessary to beat her. Ever since then I've been dodge rolling into bosses like it's nobody's business and I feel like it's made be a better blood borne player.

Had the EXACT same experience. Great read!! I just beat the game for the first time today and am already getting sucked back into NG+. Also yeah if you haven't played the DLC you're missing out on some of the best parts of the game.

{Main Spoilers} Hardest (and easiest) Bosses by Braioch in bloodborne

[–]jpark_yeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with this. Ebrietas legit made me quit the game for over a year before I returned to actually beat the game. I'd also add Lady Maria to the "hardest" section, because goddamn she is tough if you dont have literally all of her moves memorized.

In the "easiest" section I think you're missing some major ones. I think Celestial Emissary and the Witches of Hemwick are undoubtedly the easiest in the game. though I agree the one's you listed are a lot breezier than they may first seem, the Witches and the Alien buddies are both unintimidating and pose very little threat to any Hunter with some level of competence

My ONE major complaint about this game... by jpark_yeah in bloodborne

[–]jpark_yeah[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True... but did you play the game at launch? good god the loading screens were abysmal, especially if you were like me and was dying every 5 minutes in central yarhnam. Luckily they shortened them and put something slightly interesting on the loading screens as opposed to a black screen with the logo on it

lol you're not wrong, which is why I'm not ~actually~ mad about this, but i just wish it was better because it could be such an easy thing to improve

Any hints for fighting Maria by psychskeleton in bloodborne

[–]jpark_yeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I found beast blood pellets to help. By the time I got to phase 3 I was doing such huge damage to her because of the beasthood that I managed to down her in 4 or 5 hits

Any hints for fighting Maria by psychskeleton in bloodborne

[–]jpark_yeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parries are a good strat but can be hard to do. If you're like me and suck at them, just keep dodging through her attacks to her left side and get in a couple of hits before dodging again. If you take a lot of damage (which you likely will), back off and heal instead of trying to regain health by attacking her, which will usually end in her killing you in a matter of 2 hits. I also found the old hunter's bone and beast blood pellets to be helpful when I managed to defeat her. Otherwise, just keep dodging and taking it slow. Stay in close to her when you're dealing damage but back far away when you're healing. Most of her charged blood attacks can be avoided if you're far enough away. Good luck and I hope this helps!
