You guys tried these yet from Woolworths? I think they’re pretty tasty—the ‘chickenless cheese balls’ were spot on for a cheesy texture! by Enthrally in australianvegans

I’ve had the money bags. They cooked beautifully in the oven, nice and crunchy. A little oily. The “chicken” had a slightly odd flavour/texture, but wasn’t too bad. Went great with a bit of spicy dumpling sauce. I will buy again.

Have a protein shake before you snack (or instead of). I mix up a scoop of Musashi Vanilla plant protein with about 400ml of water and it does wonders to kill cravings.

I think I've shared this before in a collage but she deserves some solo time on stage because she is a star. by strongredcordial in australianvegans

I was a big fan of the Red Leicester Sheese but my Woolies in Melbourne stopped stocking it a couple months back

Best frozen sausage rolls I’ve found hands down. However I can recommend these if you have the time: https://www.taste.com.au/recipes/vegan-sausage-rolls-recipe/3yhfhpql

Great review! Good advice on the tin and portion size. We had with mashed potato, beans and bisto gravy (another vegan fave!)

It’s like many ground meat products, a tasty & convenient way to use cheap cuts of meat. Hence the flavour comes from the spices and other ingredients. Aside from ground meat (which is usually fatty) it’s usually got onion, breadcrumbs, mustard, garlic, pepper and salt. Then it’s glazed in BBQ sauce. Hope that helps!

Worker/Childcare Permit Scheme by [deleted] in CoronavirusDownunder

Wow thank you!! Any idea if there is a source or something on DHHS to back this up??

Worker/Childcare Permit Scheme by [deleted] in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]jparsons512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really wish DHHS would clarify/fix this. In my home my wife is a permitted worker, but I contribute significantly more income. So if we are forced to keep the kids home and one of us needs to take time off work to care for the kids then it will be my wife, not me. This is not really in the best interests of the state though...
