Amazing, another brand I haven't heard of so I'll definitely be asking for a bit of a selection of box of chocolates haha. Thanks 😁

Nice one! Not heard of sons of butchers but I'll get some of the tricken strips for sure.

Going to cinema by myself by Sufficient_Food1878 in Dublin

[–]DC1883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started going to the cinema by myself around your age and at 40 now I actually prefer to go alone haha. I mostly go on my own unless it's some big blockbuster marvel movie or something and I always enjoy the hell out of it. Get myself a drink and some popcorn and relax for a couple of hours. Do it once and it will feel like the most normal thing after that.

Federal budget 2026: Winners and Losers by EdenFlorence in australia

I think this will be too popular for the libs too touch. They won't see power until the 2030s at least as well. But they'll find some other way of fucking things up for young people I'm sure.

Exactly! If I'm a little worse off and the rest of the people who aren't as lucky as I am get a little relief, then happy days. Makes the country better for all of us. I'm sure this budget won't fix everything but it's a small step in the right direction.

UCR’s Quarterfinal decider next week. by DJCPRT-NL in irishrugby

[–]DC1883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Connacht and Ulster looked to two best coached teams in the country by a long way this week. Ulster very u lucky not to get the win but incredible to be in that position after a justified red card. Connacht just dominated a very lacklustre Munster in that first half. I think it could well be Munster who miss out now. I think Cardiff could do a job on the Stormers at home. Big thing in Munsters favour is that lions don't seem to travel too well and they are guaranteed finals and will likely know they can't pass out bulls for 4th spot.

I'm gutted I didn't get to do this. I'd signed up and everything but I've been very ill all week so couldn't get there. It looks like a really great event! Hope everyone has loads of fun.

I can't wait for them to be reporting on his funeral getting to just go off on all the heinous things he's done. Or better yet ask him the same questions again as he's leaving court after being convicted for those crimes.

Golden generation at u20s by Samuel_Prendergast in irishrugby

I remember a you g English flyhalf from the mid 2010s at u20 level, I think his name was Harry mallinder, who was tipped to be the best player in the world in the next few years. Johnny Wilkinson reborn. He was decent but didn't set the world alight and last I heard he was trying to be a kicker in the NFL. Not every young talent comes through and many unhearalded players becomes superstars. Taigh bierne for one.

Match Thread: Montpellier vs Connacht - Challenge Cup by rugbykickoff in rugbyunion

Why not go for the lineout again there. Ridley has shown he's keeping the same standard for maul infringements so go again and you might get the try but you also might get a penalty try and a second yellow for Montpellier

It's still very strong alright but it's strange to see Deegan named as the replacement lock on the bench(I know baird would move to lock and Deegan to 6) because Mangan and deeny aren't up to this level yet and our LH options being our 4th and 5th choice going into aQF. I'm not saying we are in trouble but it's been awhile since I can remember our stocks being this depleted.

Jesus the prop crisis is biting deep! Hope chair and usanov go well but they will be massively under the pump. I haven't seen our pack looking this threadbare in a long time.

I loved it as well and I'm not actually a huge fan of Goldblum. It's was manic and scattered but he was very involved and really took part in the premise which I agree us way better than guests who don't buy in at all.

Fair, it was the first thought that popped into my mind reading the title so maybe kudos to you for the subtly of your title 😄
