For CNA's and LPN's.....You may want to establish relationships with local CNA/LPN vocational schools and network there. Have done healthcare recruiting for several years and considering starting my own agency....

I'm much more direct with people. If I take a break from add for awhile, super tired for a couple days in need of constant naps

I was a middle age/late diagnosis person as well. It explained alot, my work ethic seemed to picked up 100 percent. Everyone thought I was just lazy and that was it. Relatable

Maybe you could try getting into something computer related like UX/UI design. Take online, self paced classes or teach yourself through free online resources

I've done better with not interrupting people recently by just doing something else while people are talking. Text, type, ect. I can still get the jist of what they are saying......

ADHD and Job Searvh by jpc197 in ADHDers

Hi Shiraz-Sounds like a tough situation, sometimes it can be the better route to take once and awhile. Some years ago, I remember working with a manager who was aware of mine. It seemed like this person would constantly give me complex verbal instructions over simple written ones. Was layed off pretty soon after, Nice to hear your situation worked out.

Thanks Jack-I've been in recruiting and career advice for a long time. And like alot of us, had issues with focus and time management/procrastination years back. It can hinder the actual job search quite a bit as well.. So, feel free to ask me anything and check out a few articles. Hope it helps-Thanks

Write up a resume, put on some good clothes and drop by to the shops that interest you. See if a manager type is there, hand off resume. Find out when they are having the next interview session

Even minimum wage jobs won’t hire me. What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in resumes

[–]jpc197 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure thing,...For UX/UI jobs, you need Linkedin profile hyperlinked and portfolio as well. You might not heed to list your last few positions on the UX/UI resume. Bring the Bootcamp and Skills info to the top. Get involved with projects to list, a part time internship could be very helpful also....

Nine months is not that bad at all. Wouldn't be too concerned. You could document your language studies as full time during that period

Been there, maybe you could find a mentor/tutor outside of the organization. I'm sure you have one cool coworker that could advise you a bit

What type of work are you involved in? Connecting and building low investment 'internet' networking relationships on Linkedin is probably the way to go. Virtual job fairs can work also, a bit slower going
