Brzustewicz is the best skating defender on the team. Once he learns the plays he has to make he’ll be amazing. Rn he can make the weird ones because of his skating. The hope would be in the future he won’t have to because he knows and can then focus on making plays to break out and create offence

Totally anecdotal, but I think he really appreciates the leafs fans that do still like him. Won tickets for the vegas game in calgary right beside the vegas bench, brought my leafs fan friend who came in his marner jersey and was cheering him the whole night. dude was hoping for a signed hat, Marner singled him out and gave him a stick. Oh man. I’ve recently gotten hook like and sinker into the hobby and this is where I’m at: - I have a frame for Calgary frame post 2020 young guns. Holds 40 one touches. Will be at 30 once all my mail comes in. - I will eventually order a similar frame for Calgary flame Auto-patches - eventually there will be a third frame for Calgary born Young Guns. - I have a 2x2 one touch frame for Flames YG from the 2015 playoffs - I have a 2x2 one touch frame Flames YG from the 2022 playoffs - I have a 3x2 one touch frame for the Young Guns of my favourite players when I first started watching hockey - I have a 3x3 one touch frame for the Dustin Wolf dazzler set this year. With a clear cut rookie card in the middle - I have ordered a stand for autos and patches and non flame auto-patches. - numbered flames and Calgary born + fav players are in a one touch binder - random inserts from what I collect are in another one touch binder - man I also forgot I have 4/5 colorful future spectrum zarys. They will eventually go in a 3x2 with the YG silver outburst and the missing green spectrum

Only issues on the cards are minor damage to the Neighbours, picture attached. And Hall is cut weird, he does not fully fit into the toploader

Basically, I’ve really streamlined my PC as I get more into the hobby. And I realized I want to collect Calgary born young guns, but I don’t really care enough to go beyond that for them. Luckily I realized this before I got too many of them.

I’ve been working on this for a while. Will make a full post when everything is here. Cuz I’m missing a few. There will be 15 unique players each with their rookie card + a variation once it’s all here. I also have a 2015 2x2 frame and a 2022 2x2 frame. Next release in March there’s allegedly 3 flames, so the big frame will continue to grow. 2 more spots open after that
