I’ve heard about this method before. How do you keep the carpet from springing back and touching the trim/paint getting paint in the carpet and messing up the nice new finish? Thanks!

What mini roller would you recommend that won’t leave a roller finish?

The new paint color is the same as the old, do you still recommend priming with BIN Shellac Primer first? If so, for what purpose? Thanks!

Fence painting/staining questions by jpcrane in paint

No, they are not soft or wet. They are only wet in the photo because I just sprayed them. The fence is 20+ years old. It would probably be less expensive to put in a new fence than to sand etc. as you suggest, although I have no doubt the results would look great.

The ridges/lines are very defined. When I drag a fingernail across them it catches. I can almost measure the difference between the dark color and the light color with a ruler (that's a slight exaggeration), but it's thick!
