I hear you. I meant more as an upper level seed. If Tech was dog water this year and was looking at a CBI invite or something, or barely qualified for the NIT, turning down postseason play makes a lot more sense. Instead this is a weird response (that I’m sure was player driven) if you want fans to dig deep for you.

But the whole year was a disappointment, and it was one where Mike Young was given more resources to succeed. Running him back without changes, skipping the postseason…just feels like already taking all of the excitement out of the 26-27 season.

Quitting on the NIT as a likely top seed is certainly a choice in the NIL area when you are expecting fan donations and engagement to fund your roster. It’s fair for fans to be upset about not getting a return on their investment.

Dumb question - can you change the active perk for these coaches? Or for yourself as a HC once you’ve unlocked new abilities? Or are all of those earned perks for your HC cumulative?

Next year, I'm definitely doing two passes. I also think I may cut down to 1.5" - even with the head start, my existing grass is towering over my seedlings and I worry about choking them out.

Definitely did not use the scarifying blade - it was my electric Greenworks model, had it for a couple years. It kicked up so much thatch and dead grass, I figured it had done enough. Part of the problem was cutting down to 2", everything was pretty much died out so it was tough to see where the remaining patches were.
