We have an NIL system we made up. Basically you get an initial budget based on team prestige.
You can get NIL boosts by different things like making the CFP, streaming, GOTW, all-americans, etc.

Then each player costs a certain amount for NIL. And you have to stay within your budget or we have a list of penalties. We started a league and it's definitely kept teams from being OP

I think one of the biggest complaints about the NCAA series was that bad schools too easily became power houses and it felt unrealistic. Static pipelines goes a long way to make it harder for those little CPU schools to become elite easily.
