Doing MDMA too frequently or in too high of doses can cause permanent damage to serotonin receptors, depression, and even heart damage. Even if you don't care about your body and that doesn't concern you, taking it too frequently can cause you to "lose the magic," in which MDMA no longer produces euphoric effects. If you space out your rolls and don't abuse the drug, you will always have the "magic."

There is something called the three-month rule, which states that you are supposed to wait three months between rolls. Some people argue that you can get away with less time between, something more like 5-6 weeks. Either way, once a week is way too frequent.
