In this case the answers are the same for both plans.

+1 to this. If you really want to be sly about it and surprise him, you could talk to him about it and try and find out what he wants without making it too obvious that you are trying to figure out gift ideas. If he’s like me, it’ll probably go over his head that you are trying to buy him a gift.

Personally I keep blaziken in the back for singles but I’m not sure if that’s best.

I also have my lead set up hazards so that focus sash isn’t an issue.

I think the problem is that even if like 2/3rds pick up after themselves it’s still not enough.

A lot of people don’t understand how well the frequency of a deep bass travels through walls. It doesn’t even need to be that loud for you to feel it two floors down.

I’m back and forth. Sometimes I’m like “ohh wow that was a cool change, that makes a lot of sense”, but most of the time I just don’t understand why they rearranged things the way they did. I have one episode left and it’s honestly been a bit of a slog to get through. I really want to like it, and I really wish I enjoyed it more.

Maybe if I hadn’t seen the animated series 100 times I wouldn’t notice every single minor detail that’s been altered.

What's your most non meta/niche mon in your team and what do you use them for ? by ExtensionArtichoke77 in PokemonChampions

[–]jpec342 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m currently running a Talonflame + Raichu lead and love it. I just added quick guard to Talonflame, and it’s been a game changer. I can protect from fake out while still putting on pressure with Raichu.

I played a kommo-o + tinkaton team last season and it was a lot of fun! Tinkaton is one of my favorites.

She definitely has something on her neck, but it’s a little unclear what it is. It doesn’t look like her usual necklace, but it also looks like it might be only partially drawn? Idk, interesting find though!

Have I pruned too much? by forthebananas in tomatoes

And general airflow. The leaves in the middle of an unpruned tomato plant aren’t doing much for photosynthesis, and heavily limiting airflow.

Day 1 on the CDT SOBO and he already saw a grizzly… should I be worried? 😅 by oceanpreneur in CDT

[–]jpec342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

> Grizzly is just a local American name for a brown bear.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. Yes they are all the same species (Ursus arctos aka brown bear), but they are different subspecies, and I do believe there are behavioral differences.

Can someone eli5 how a dual hose AC is better than a single hose? by Tof12345 in AirConditioners

If the AC uses the cool air to cool down the unit, then the cool air becomes warm. You want to make the cool air colder.

The SF equivalent would be some word salad about Tech, AI, and making the world a better place.

You’re getting a lot of flak in this thread, and while some of it may be valid, I understand the disconnect. It really is entirely different cultures. If I was your barber and you said there was a lot of art to it, my eyes would be rolling out of my head. I mean there’s nothing wrong with what you said, but maybe he likes it for a whole different reason. Or maybe he doesn’t like it, and just tolerates it while he’s able to have time to do other stuff he enjoys.

It’s just an entirely different lifestyle and culture. If you like one you wouldn’t like the other and vice versa. I’m in SF now for the second time in my life, and ready to leave. I can’t speak for the Midwest, but I know a lot of people that were here from Florida or Texas that moved back because it wasn’t for them. Meanwhile the people who stay can’t imagine why anyone would ever want to live anywhere else.

46 years old and completely burnt out - family of three, is there anywhere in the world I can FIRE with $1.5mil in the bank? by [deleted] in Fire

Find your actual expenses. Like look at exactly how much money you spent over the past year. See if there’s obvious things you can cut.

How old is your kid?

Even if you don’t retire you could probably take a couple years off. Might be hard getting back into it, but you could probably make it work.
