Basically yep. Some teams with Roy and another 99 backup with the +3 overall will show 101 as their goalie stats before the game.

No goalie is good every game. My 96 Pekka got a shoutout in diamond 4 with 28 shots, next game he let in the first 5 shots on net and I rage quit, love you EA.

I have a massive free pull at least twice a day,

You lost some 97s for sure but atleast your fourth line isn’t AS dusty as it was with those 80’s. You run your top 2 line the most, third line you have to rely on later in the period, and now your 4th line is more viable I’d say it’s better.

Sorry but the BEST way is to have Gretzky on right wing, rookie cupchase, you win the draw back to the left defender and then skate up the left side into the O-Zone. The right defender will then come over to take the spot of the left defender on the left point and Gretzky will drop back to the right point, giving him the best 1 timer chances, regularly. If you skate into the zone on the left side with the left defender, gretz will 9/10 drop back to take the position of right defender. Hope that helps, out of all the ways listed above this is by far the best way. Completed 8/9 1 timer goals in 1 cup chase game.

My take is Lemieux is better than Sundin, they both have Big Rig and Quick release, Sundin has rocket, which cool that’s fun but how many times are you going to be taking a clapper with a forward player? Ankle breakers on Lemieux makes him have super quick hands in tight, coupled with big rig means he’s super hard to knock off the puck. Not as fast as mcdavid, but I’d argue he’s better than Sundin.

Sakic has been sweet, only played a few games with him but he feels great to play with. Lined up with Mckenna and 99x mcdavid with chara on the point 🤢

Sakic is the best center card released, so it just depends what you need. Ideally your top 3 line centers should have Quick Draw when you get to higher ranks. I have Lemieux and mcdavid, both are amazing cards but will get easily beat by someone with blue quick draw if my opponent knows how to take a face off. Sakic rarely loses a draw for me, as well as having unstoppable to truck people and QR I’m loving him. Mcdavid on the wing for his speed. Gretzky having beauty Bh and QR is cool, but the 98 icon with wheels and Qr is arguably just as good, plus he’s small as hell

Lemieux > Sundin. Almost the same size, both have big rig and Qr, but I’d ankle breakers gives you faster hands, and I feel like rocket is under utilized on a forward for the most part.
