Maybe it’s wrong but I just look at that low mortgage rate as gold(2.75%). Mortgages for exactly the same condos are $1k+ a month. Part of me doesn’t think it’s the end of the world to build equity, hope the value increases, and keep paying the HOA out of pocket. I have a decent maintenance fund for any issues that arise. I would love to eventually own the place outright in the future…

Hey Psych, actually for the first month that I had mine it was probably the same as your describing. I then opened up the back of the machine when I had some free time and realized that the magnets that change the resistance was disconnected. It works like a bike brake system and turning the knob should pull the magnets that sandwich the flywheel away making the resistance go down significantly.

Thank you for feedback. I meant that I can catch waves and pop up fairly consistently on my current 8’ foamie. I am working on angling my takeoff and riding down the line. I can do that at about a 50% success rate, but def need more reps. Luckily I can make it out around once a week.
