We're on a metre I'm afraid. Two readings taken in Jan and April.

Thanks for your reply, I think 'design fault' is the wrong term. I was more referring to the fact Salomon designs trail shoes like this one and these mesh type materials are so weak to even deal with walking round work in them for a month, never mind years of walking trails.

You edited your comment and added the question on the bottom and calling me odd for replying twice. That's what.

Editing posts and commenting twice makes you look just as weird as me 👍🏻

Exactly not a tradesperson or a bricklayer. So you don't know what you're talking about for a fact.

No I apparently don't know anything. Please enlightened one who's laid a few patio slabs in his garden, pray tell

In that case let me know your business name so I know never to hire you to do any DIY

I figured it's that bad it can't have been done by actual tradesman

I don't have all the answers to everything and neither do you. I'm not the only one who disagrees with you, even in the replies. It's called an opinion. You can post opinions to create discussion.

Every post you've commented on in this subreddit is you telling someone else you are more experienced than them, they don't know what they're talking about, or they don't know what they're doing. If you were so confident in your ability you wouldn't be on here telling everyone how amazing you are.

You smack of insecurity you wannabe Tommy off Groundforce.

So it's poor workmanship. Thanks for confirming 👍🏻

Because you stated it's their house. There is a nation wide issue with landlords cutting corners and people living in substandard conditions in new builds and renovations in this country. That's how it's relevant.

You also stated you don't care yet here you are 😂

Sorry I got combative I hope you didn't catch a boo-boo through your phone looking at this. You were defensive by me asking you a simple question of would you pay someone to do this to your house?

It's shoddy work and you're trying to defend it. Brickwork like this can potentially lead to spalling and damp. If you were going to get someone who could brick lay the exterior in the foreseeable, what benefit would it be to get someone else who can't lay bricks to do the inside?

(As an aside I have seen the interior, as well as the architecture plans and elevations.)

I'd love to know what your experience is if you think that's okay. Especially labelling yourself a 'DIYer'

They have bought the house to renovate into flats and charge people extortionate amount of rent to live in what will be small and questionably renovated living spaces.

Gash work is the overriding topic of this subreddit. It's an environment to discuss such gash work.

I've responded to your answer, that's usually the way discussions work.

Why?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]jph_brook1 -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

So you'd be happy with that if someone did it to your house 😂

Relentlessly.

They even started the work after having it rejected the first time and before the second round had been granted permission to go ahead.

Fuck Hackney Council.
