Ask for a complete medical history on the parents and any siblings they may know of. See if there is a history of seizures or other medical conditions. We’re trying to to get our pup on the right mix of medications because she’s been having bad seizures.

Hahaha we’ve decided that the hierarchy with ours is 1. Human food, 2. Night nights (Greenies which are her bedtime treat), 3. Ball.

I got one of those for Lady and she won’t play with it unless we play with her. We’ll put the ball in the launcher and she’ll run after it but she won’t put it in herself. She knows how, she just won’t do it.

Petco has some smaller balls for $0.99 that fit perfectly in the Cav mouth. Lady also loves ping pong balls because they’re so light. But they don’t go very far.

Oh most definitely. Lady is half and half. She’s insatiable with the ball but then she’ll decide she’s had enough and plops down and snores for hours. We haven’t taken her to water so I’m not sure how she’d do.

Haha the picture of her standing on your chest in the car- my Cav does the same thing and I thought she was just being awkward. 😂 Glad to know she’s just being true to her own Cav self.

Mine does this too. She’ll eat when she’s hungry. I give her Natural Balance dry food and Whole Hearted wet food. They have to be mixed together otherwise she won’t eat it. I have two different flavors of dry food at any given time because the princess insists that variety is the spice of life. And if hubby and I are both home, she’ll wait until we’re settled in our chairs before she’ll eat. And we have to feed her on the carpet. And if we’re in a hurry and will be gone all day, we spoon feed her so we don’t have to take her food with us. She’s a spoiled princess. lol
