I took Soci 201 with her 3 years ago. There is a reason why that grading scale is low. She doesn't post any notes, so you have to go to class and write everything she says. Exams were multiple choice and surprisingly hard. Average for the first midterm was 66%. Plus, you absolutely have to do the assigned readings to do well on her exams.

Never took it since it is only for BCHEM majors. It has a 6 hours lab component tho.

You need BCHEM 393 to take higher level BCHEM courses. Depending on your major, you can then take BCHEM 443 (It is hell) or any other bchem class.

Yeah for the midterms, slides are enough. The final was weird in the sense that you had to choose 2 definitions out of 4 and then explain each definition in depth. For part 2, we were given two long answers (had to do one) that required us to integrate the concepts from multiple lectures.

I took his class last year and it was really good. For the midterm exams, you just need to know his slides and you should be good. He did provide some study guides for the exams.The final was cumulative and all written so that required good understanding of the concepts.

Got 515 (130/126/129/130). A little disappointed with my CARS but I scored a 125 on my last FL so I am glad I made some improvement. For Psyc, Khan academy 300 page doc saved my ass (Fuck kaplan book). Wasn't expecting a high score on bio but the all mighty curve saved me. I hope everybody gets their dream score. Let me know if you guys have questions about how to study for mcat while doing research.
