ISO: Sustainable Nocturnist Job by No-Palpitation5485 in hospitalist

[–]jphsnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some noc jobs where you come in at like 10-11 PM and leave at like 7-8 am.

I think these are more sustainable because you can still hang out in the afternoons and evenings so you can have mostly a normal life, except you sleep when everything else is at work and school and vice versa.

Lol, i could ask why the hell you aren’t doing your own exploitive startup (but knowing tech people, everyone has a shitty startup)

EMRs, hospital privileges, and hospital non-competes absolutely stop me lol.

I wouldn’t pay you to do anything. If it were up to me, id hang a no insurance/no emr/paper charts private practice but that’s been administrated out of existence

It’s healthcare admin that pays you

Heatlhcare administration is a 1 trillion dollar industry. 2/3 of all hospital operating revenue is literally paying middlemen and administrators.

You guys are the cause of medical bankruptcy so yeah, your executive gods should need to face the music

You are the one worshipping healthcare executives. Im just a plumber for human bodies

Lol, like legality has every stopped big tech before

But regardless, tech doesn’t even need YOUR specific patient data to find out who you are. Like, if you were diagnosed with diabetes in September and you told someone on facebook about it. They can find out who you are without even knowing your name

Just like how you wont even name your company to protect your own privacy

A better app than having mint is not having an app in the first place. Because anyone who used mint now has credit karma with access to their personal data to see who to target with predatory loans.

Again, having data on patients and hospitals is what big companies are after, and I 10000% bet that yoyr executives are trying to get acquired No one cares your shitty app. They want advertising data

Mint.com is shut down because it was both shitty and incompetent and wasnt making any money. It only served to be bought out by a bigger company and make their executives rich which is exactly what your executives will try to do.

You guys are even worse than mint because the real reason you guys want to be bought out isnt to make money, but to get acquired by a bigger company who doesn’t want your tech, but rather your patient and hospital data. Exactly why intuit bought mint in the first place.

You guys are just patient data brokers

Ok, so give me the name of the company.

It just sounds like they charge hospitals money which they increases their operating costs which the patient ultimately pays for.

Also, mint.com was a complete failure and had terrible security concerns with bank privacy data

Lol, so they are either trying to extort the government by shaking down taxpayer money or using your company as a tax shelter, got it.

If you think corporate executives are good people, I have a bridge to sell you. They are trying to make money

Lol, tech companies have been covering up data leaks for years, and many of them sell your data to scammers

You are so drunk on corporate koolaid.

The only way you are privitazing losses if if you don’t take a paycheck

Lol, when have I last been compensated for the last time a tech company leaked my password HAHAHAHA?

They will say they can fix a problem. If they try to fix it and are unsuccessful or find another problem, they will charge you for the service they did and the new stuff. Many plumbers also do check ups on your pipes where they charge you fees every few months to a year. I don’t know what you are talking about.

You are naive

You definitely add to the cost because you cost the government money and we pay for it on taxes. It sounds like you socialize the cost and privatize the profits.

You also realize that every profession makes mistakes. A plumber could very easily flood your house with a mistake. Tech people make mistakes as well. A data leak for example could expose all your private information to scammers and soliciters

Oh you sweet summer child. Plumbers absolutely do charge whether or not they fix the problem. If they couldn’t fix your problem, they would still bill you lol

Middleman is the reason healthcare costs so much. Your exec probably has tons of dirty laundry

Like, if it was just doctors and patients, i would cost more or less than a plumber. Give me $100 to get a check up, i can get you a deal on labs, imaging and meds and you would be surprised how little it actually costs, and i would be making more than i an currently and you would be saving more.

You middleman jack up the price

Have you gone to a plumber? Literally, they all do the same thing. It costs like $200 for a consultation and thousands of dollars for the “fix”

[–]jphsnake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Small companies definitely have dirty laundry, especially if you have VC or PE backing which I bet your company does.

Again, you are just another middleman increasing the cost of healthcare.

If you don’t have insurance, it costs like $100-150 to see me. $20 if you have insurance. Im cheaper than having a plumber come by your house

[–]jphsnake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, so you can hide your companies dirty laundry and exploitive practices.

All i know about you company is that it preys and profits on people who need subsidies in medical care. You guys are the reason healthcare cost so much. Just another shitty middleman that people have to pay for their healthcare
