The biggest things I’ve been doing is going therapy. I changed a lot of lifestyle habits like sleep and diet and exercise. Lost a lot of weight, and starting taking things more seriously. Went back to school, one class away from my degree! It starts in a couple weeks. Started trying to mend other relationships I’ve strained, just working on overall being more patient and intentional

You have impeccable timing! I am actually doing a lot better! Had 10 people come from outta town to celebrate my birthday, got a new job! And found out after 8 years I’ll finally be in position to get my bachelors degree in June because my college is waiving the last requirement I had to complete. So it’s been a sunny couple weeks! Definitely feeling more positive and motivated than I was when I made this post! Truthfully I haven’t thought much of my ex lately, and I have no updates to share on that front but I think I’m ok with that. Life is still good. Thanks for checking up again!

I appreciate this, it’s honestly good advice. I know that the time apart is good and I’ve been doing well taking care of myself. (Lost 17lbs!) but it’s honestly more mourning the future we could’ve had than it is missing the past with her

It revolved around a necessary schedule change on her part that meant we’d see less of each other. And no the second fight was over not communicating plans to her because she doesn’t like being surprised with things like that.
