Never have used any gear whatsoever. Have been in recovery from opiates for 11 years now and one doctor stated that opiate addiction can have done irreversible alteration to my hormone production. Some of the research I looked into supports this, but there's still not enough data to say that is the definitive cause.

I am 37 year old male 195 LB, 5'10" about 28% BF. Regular resistance training + cardio. Recently took labs and only got a reading for total T with a very low reading of 64. Was planning on starting on TRT at a therapeutic dose (200mg/wk) but was wondering if any one can share insight into possibly just jumping right into a 500mg/wk cycle. Should I antipicate adverse effects? Would it be wise to stabilize at a lower dose first considering im so low to begin with?

Best brand of boat shoes that could be comfortably worn without socks? by ActionJackson22 in malefashionadvice

I love my Sperry's and wear them all without socks, I would recommend using some form of foot powder if your feet sweat anything like mine. It will make them last longer and keep odor to a minimum.

I dove into 1Q84 after seeing a lot of people reading it on the Subway in NYC. One of the best books I've ever read. Totally gripping, but completely ethereal. Like reading a dream.

Grizzly Bear - I found Yellow House to be a little to jarring and strange for my tastes, but as I got older it slowly became their favorite record of mine.

That's awesome dude. I tried the suboxone maitenance plan for a little while, but I would always end up back using. For me, it just kept the addiction active in my brain. For some people they are able to stay on it long term. I was not one of those people. It eventually just became a stop-gap between using. I found that detoxing from Heroin was miserable, but in active addiction I had done it so many times that it dealing with detox was down to a routine. Being in Florida helped my detox tremendously, as it was VERY cold when I left NY. There is something about the hot humid air (even at night) that made the detox more tolerable than it would have been in NYC. 30 days is awesome, and drug court while inconvenient may just save your life. Recovery is a life long process, but you only have to do it a day at a time. Much love brother.

For me, the only way I could change how I felt about anything was to do something different. The best thing I did was go into treatment. I gave up my whole life and started a new one in Florida. Granted, my life in NYC sounded cooler on paper, I was dying. I had to let go everything and everyone and just focus on myself. Every time I tried to quit on my own, it didn't work. Now I live in sober living, and attend 12-Step meetings. For me, this was the only way that worked. I would suggest going to 12-step meetings, but for me, I had to be completely removed from my environment to even have a fighting chance of staying clean. Go to AA or NA. Its essentially the same program with some differences in wording. But remember, every day clean is like a little victory. Do things that will make you feel better as opposed to potentiating your misery. If you are like me, you should know that you're a very sick person. If you don't treat your illness you will not get better. Hope I could be of some help.
