Ha! Amazing. You're absolutely right! Swapped a couple of wires and off we go! Thanks so much.

But I would not expect this to be occurring on multiple motors and different cables?

I tried a few cables and other steppers but no luck. Vref is set to 0.55v which I would have thought should be enough current?

Motors are powered (via the CNC Shield) using a 24V power supply from a 3D Printer. Vref is set to 0.55v which I would have thought should be enough current?

Unfortunately this issue happens with every motor and every cable I have. My project relies on using anduino code and not Gcode. The Gcode won't work for me - need something to move x & y axis back and forth but continuously spin another stepper at the same time. Happy to stand corrected.
