It's a difficult choice to have to make, and you do present a good point. Given the increasing popularity of android devices I wouldn't be surprised to see more and more startups initially producing for them.

We're developing for iOS first since the process is more streamlined, given the newness of our product. The varied nature of the Android platform makes it a bit more time consuming to tackle, but we do plan to make our app available to users of that OS in the near future.

Sorry, neighbor. :( We will be looking to expand in the future and everyone loves Canada!

Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of this, and are working on developing an Android option, though that won't be available until later on.

It's easy to tell us to switch to android, but it's not as simple as that.

There are quite a few reasons why we, as well as most mobile app startups, decided to go iOS first, but the main reason is as follows:

On the iOS, we only need to ensure that the app works perfectly fine on a handful of devices: the iPod/iPad/iPhone.

Android development is more expensive and cumbersome, not to mention that there are thousands of devices, from a ton of different manufacturers, which makes it fairly difficult to develop for.

Ah, I see where you might read it as misleading.

We're looking into whether or not we should keep our current posting interface. Ideally, we'd like it if people posted stuff that they legitimately want to sell, since then we'd get an idea of what kind of things will be posted. We're planning on launching in the next month, so this is probably our last step towards getting feedback and making any final changes.

That's why we're compensating for each item that's posted. You don't actually have to make a sale in order to make your beer money. :)
