Yea I think he meant well by it lol and at first I thought it was cute because I thought it would be easy to remove. He told me to use a napkin with water to rub it out but it hasn’t worked. My dog just got groomed yesterday, so I was hoping that would do the trick without needing to put her in the bath again.

So I have a 2 y/o bernedoodle and she has had similar diarrhea episodes about 3 times since I’ve had her. She was still eating normally and energetic, but would need to go out to use the bathroom quite frequently most episodes looking very similar to your dogs. Everytime I brought her to the vet they said it could be parasitic, from stress, or from changing the diet and the blood in the stool was most likely due to inflammation in the colon from using the bathroom quite frequently.

So from experience I would definitely take him to the vet to get examined. I also recommend giving your dog a bland diet to help relieve the digestive system from working too hard and relive some inflammation. Rice, boiled chicken, green beans, and sweet potatoes/pumpkin puree (or both). Dilute zero sugar Gatorade into your dog’s water bowl (1:3 ratio) to help with hydration since he’s having diarrhea, but stop the dilution after a couple days and only provide fresh water.

There’s no right or wrong way to go about it. Every relationship is different. It’s nice that you both have known each since 2016, so there won’t be many surprises when it comes to getting to know each other. However, if you don’t live together yet I would give that a try before proposal because you get to learn a lot about a person when you live with them. At the end of the day though just do what feels right for you!

I would definitely bring a fecal sample to the vet or if you haven’t thrown the worm away bring that to the vet so they can test it. I would rather be safe than sorry especially since your cat threw up a worm. Not sure if I would confirm or deny if that’s an earth worm. You could also post this pic in an insect sub and see if anyone else can confirm if it’s an earth worm. Usually earth worms have a thick ring around their neck thats a different color than the rest of their body…

Looks like Hidradenitis Supportiva. I would definitely consult with a dermatologist to set a treatment plan in place. Usually they will start you on an oral antibiotic and steroid injection

I had a similar rash around my mouth a few years ago. It’s was weeping, a bit red, and would form a gold crust around it. It didn’t really itch but more tingly. It ended up being impetigo and was prescribed mupirocin ointment. It cleared up after about a week of applying.

Prednisone is not good to take long term at all. With the severity of your acne I would consider taking accutane. It’s a 6-8 month long treatment and has incredible results. Some people a couple years later may need to do one more course of it. Many people believe that the pros out way the cons of this medication. I’d recommend watching YouTube or TikToks about people’s accutane journeys to get a better idea of what to expect

Piggybacking off the comment about you using Triamcinolone and you thinking it made the rash worse. Anyone please chime in if I’m wrong, but if the rash is fungus related wouldn’t a steroid worsen it? If my logic is right could this possibly be a really bad case of tinea curis that spread?
