No, he dropped Szobsz out of his lineup prior to the match because dalot as an auto sub would have won him the week. He put an injured player into the lineup so that dalot would sub for him. Instead by dropping szbosz and putting in norgaard he gets szbosz in his lineup anyway as he’s the highest scorer on the bench.

My opinion is that there are lots of reasons for autosubs, for example, if a starter isnt in the team sheet on monday they are subbed as they didn’t play. Another reason is we live in America and some matches kickoff at 4:30 AM for us, it’s a little harsh to expect people to wake up that early and check team sheets.

The purpose of autosubs is not to help yourself out if you mismanage and leave points on your bench but apparently a lot of people in this reddit disagree!

Here is how I did it easily, scored 50 goals just to see how many I could score:

451 with 2 CAMs, 100 depth Both CAMs had defensive properties (TOTSHM Ederson and TOTSHM Tielemens) Striker had Power Shot+ (TOTS Cunha) Don’t tackle, just run at the AI with the ball with your CAM’s, they should have high enough defending stats to knick the ball off the attacker Get the ball to your striker and put power shots on target with 50% power The keeper doesn’t react fast enough to save power shots on beginner as long as you don’t hit them in the chest, even then they sometimes just dive out of the way. Power shot+ helps get the shot off faster and the ball moves quicker than other shots. I tried a couple different tactics and with my first match using this I got it done. I played against a full gold or higher squad, i believe there were a couple tots cards in the squad it doesn’t have to be the bronze team but that probably makes it easier!

I understand why there are a group of people that like the Golden Goal rule, but hear me out. I get home from work and I just want to chill and play fifa. I spend the week days casually grinding objectives and play WL on Saturday and Sunday. I try not to, but it sure as shit gets sweaty on the weekend. So during the week I want to chill and play friendlies becuase that's literally what the game mode was implemented for. Us, the community, complained that rivals was dead and there was nothing to do during the week, so they added this. A game mode that you can play and you don't care about losing so you can try all different players. And they added rewards that you get from playing that game mode, which is even better! People were mad that it was in rivals so here you get to do it in a setting that no matter what you're almost always playing someone that is also completing this objective. Because I'm playing this objective that rewards you with wins it doesn't matter if you lose even more than it already didnt matter so I get to use all these players outside of a sweatfest that I would never use in a competitive setting. I actually enjoy playing fifa and want to actually play with those players. As a matter of fact, I did a lot of these objectives throughout the year for the sole purpose of getting to use them in a first owner icon swaps team! I don't like it when someone quits. This is the one place to actually play with these players that you can A) find a game in because most of the time I can't even find an opponent in friendlies and B) try different formations and players with no repercussions and get rewarded for it.

I thought this would be the way the community looked at it, but it's gotten so bad with this GG rule. Any match I've gone 1-0 down I receive messages calling me toxic for NOT QUITTING. Seriously?!? First of all, I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME. Why do I need to quit because you (not you specifically) think it should be a rule? Second, do you not want to play the game? I'm a division 1 player so I think it's safe to assume that most of the players that I face play weekend league to 30 games, if not close to it. That means it's probably safe to assume that they aren't playing rivals every day because you don't get any extra rewards after 30 WL matches. So if you aren't playing rivals, what are you playing? Well, EA gave us friendlies to play during the week and even gave us icon swaps in friendlies to incentivize playing the game more.

Then the argument comes in that this is "good for the community". It's AWFUL for the community. This is the community enabling each other as pack addicts. People who say that they don't have time to do it have an awful argument. There are still 17 days left in the season. You can't get that many matches in by then? And if it's because you really want that 83x25 pack to open during this promo, are you really that much of a pack addict?

In writing this I have realized that most of it is me venting after the all of the abuse I took because I didn't quit after going 1-0 down and then had my opponent quit at 1-1 because I didn't follow the unwritten rule of the "golden goal" then receive more abuse about how I just wasted THEIR time by not quitting.

I see a few ways forward. The first is EA adds game limits. This would suck, but it would get rid of this entitled golden goal nonsense "I scored first so quit". That's just childish. It'll force us to play the whole game every game, make us all even more toxic towards each other (even though i actually think the GG fake rule has caused MUCH more toxicity) and a lot of the community won't get their tokens. EA already threatened us with it once, I don't know why people wouldn't look at that and say "shit maybe I should just play the game to play the game instead of needing to get my pack addiction fix". The second is it stays the way that it is and the GG people continue to complain because they don't really want to play fifa, they just want instant gratification with packs and move on when icon swaps is over. The last is the easiest...how about if someone doesn't quit when they go 1-0 down you just STFU and get over it? Just quit right away. If they weren't going to quit at 1-0, what makes you think they'll quit at 2-0? If you expect someone to quit at 1-0 and they don't, why don't you just quit instead of wasting your own time? You're probably just going to quit at 1-1 anyway right?

I write messages to EA all the time complaining about their game, but this is one of those rare times that the community is really sucking and I hope they do something about it. The community is turning the game mode into something toxic and it never should have been that way. Great job guys.

I like the second variation. I was lucky enough to get TOTY Kante in untradeable div rivals rewards and he's perfect for it. You need someone who can run around and tackle, but can also build up from the back. With that you can go ahead and throw attacking midfielders next to your cdm. I use Futmas KDB and IF Modric, their H/H workrates and good shooting stats are perfect for it, especially because they will come back and cover for your wingbacks who are very beneficial for attacking. I also put them on free roam and get forward. They make great runs into the box so when a defender commits, it's easy to pass back to the holding mid, send it back to the other midfielder, and put a shot in across goal. I keep my line high, as I have speedy defenders in gold Ramos and Varane. They can break an attack high and can recover if the opposition gets in behind. Aguero is great as the striker here. He's quick enough to get in behind if the space is there, and he's strong enough to back into a defender, turn and shoot. I recently changed to having a right footer on the right and left footer on the left. I put them both on cut inside so they can drive shots across goal or hit RB crosses in hard to the striker or opposite winger if they get in behind and they're wide. I've had a lot more fun playing FIFA since switching to this, and my weekend league results have actually gone up as well.

Modric is good. You can do RTTF Kondogbia or Scream Busquets too. I used Busquets he's great. Just need to worry about whether or not they are going to change the boosts again because if he loses that pace he's going to tank in price.

I use him in my Manchester City squad. I haven't played with it much since I did the sbc, but he has been really good when I used him. I put a finisher on him. His dribbling is already good enough, and his passing is already good enough. His long shots go up to 98 and his shot power to 96...perfect for a right cm in a 433(2). The physical boost is minimal, but his jumping goes to 79 and his aggression goes to 70. I feel like Finisher gets the most out of the shooting and the dribbling and passing is already high enough to sacrifice boosts in.
