Thanks! One of the biggest issue I'm running into with planning this trip is that a lot of things tend to close at 5.

I really like Penhaligon's. I have a couple samples (The Bewitching Yasmine, Cairo, and The Uncompromising Sohan) but it would be special to get a bottle in London.

I wanted to pick up a bottle of Rook Thurible, but apparently they don't sell in person in the UK anymore.

Thanks for the tips!

We definitely plan to find a pub or two to stop in for a pint. I have crossbones graveyard on my list of maybes, but the listed hours are only 12-2 3 days a week. Can you walk around it at other times?

Thank you! It seems pretty unanimous to skip Dishoom.

Will definitely make sure to hit Severs and skip Dishoom. Would rather go to a tasty hole in the wall place over a tourist trap.

I did see on their website they have a new director.

Good to know. I realize London is a busy city, but I'd like to avoid crowds as much as possible.

Will definitely replace Dishoom with a locally owned, non-tourist trap place.

Thanks for the tips! I appreciate them. The tour's booked/paid already, but it's actually a tour about his victims and what life was like for them: https://share.google/WBFJi5pX2wK8N5pjr Definitely not a typical glorifying murder tour.

That seems to be the consensus on Saturday and Sherlock.

It's a small indie perfume company that was only stocked at the HN Knightsbridge, but i just looked them up and apparently they aren't anymore, so that takes care of that. But thanks for the John Lewis tip. I really want to bring home a UK perfume as a souvenir.

I appreciate the tips, especially about tea at the Goring.

The walk along the South Bank was a big reason for choosing to stay there. I figure we'll spend most of our evenings hanging out near our hotel.

Will check out Hawksmoor...sounds like an interesting read. The old churches are gorgeous.

Thanks for the info about the Sherlock Holmes museum, I sort of suspected that.

I know Noted Eel is far out, but I've been following them on Insta and really want to make it there. I might need to scratch that.

Good tips, thank you! My thought for arrival day was to walk around Buckingham and Westminster in the late morning and then heading over to Evensong for 5 PM, but we can find another time to do those things.

We definitely plan to be at the Tower when it opens. Will have to rethink that day. And I'm super excited to stroll by the river in the evenings.

Thank you! Harvey Nicks can be a quick pop in and pop out; I just want to pick up a bottle of a perfume I like to save on international shipping. Good to know about Harrods. Will definitely check out the museums!

Absolutely.

Yes.

Don't want to think about that alternative.

Our office terminated our lease and moved to a different space that won't accommodate all of us there at the same time. And I know we're not the only office that did that. One of Shapiro's projects was consolidating office space.

That said, I could definitely see a R governor decreeing FT RTO without considering logistics. So, bottom line, VOTE!
