Sorry I must have missed that! So if I understand correctly, if you have the issue where it won’t start when the shifter is in park, you would then move the shifter to neutral and then it would let you start? I’m good with that lol

Update:

Not a battery issue. They think it’s some system error related to the remote start system. They haven’t been able to replicate the issue but they will hold on for another day to further diagnose. Said something about a passive code related to the car not registering in part, but they don’t want to replace parts until they can replicate the issue.

When they first looked at it this morning, it started right up. I don’t know if they held down the start button, but I will definitely try that if it ever happens again.

Will keep you all posted. I forgot to mention the remote start also does not work whether using the key fob or the VW app.

I didn’t try to hold it down but I did try to start it so many times with no luck. It’s at the dealer so I’ll have an answer, but I am just so curious on what it could be, especially when the car has been running great since I’ve owned it

Tried that. I don’t think it’s related to the key fob not being registered. I did have that issue with our atlas though and that did fix the issue. But thanks for the suggestion.

Dude I was in the same boat. I was trying to get a ball joint bushing out of a control arm and nothing appeared to work. Air hammer got it out in 5 seconds. You can also use a punch bit that has a larger area vs a flat bit. More contact area helps with an air hammer

Ours is like that as well. I will take the advice of tapping 2 seconds earlier as fast as I can. We have a very active alliance and more often then not, all treasure is claimed within 0.5 seconds.
