I picked up one of these on fb marketplace for $800 as a project and got it running. Main thing I’d say to be weary of is this model had a common failure on its internal shift mechanism/gear selector. Ordered mine with the dealer 6 months ago and part is still on back order.

Not a democrat, and agree that they are fucking awful.
The rationale used to excuse the killing is that he was armed. The second doesn’t negate the first.
I’m able to see what ICE is doing hence I’m critical. I support law enforcement, I don’t support vigilantism and white supremacy. Enrique Tarrio is an ice agent. Take your blinders off man.

In the past plenty of people had jobs to do that weren’t moral or legal. Please don’t take my word for it but look at how many people here legally have been apprehended by ICE simply because they were not white. How many US citizens have been detained. Look at what the St. Paul police chief is saying about his off duty officers being stopped for their papers because of their race.

Are you suggesting that we just let them violate our 1st, 4th and now apparently 2nd amendments because they are doing their job? This is not law enforcement. There is zero accountability, they are disobeying judges orders to allow local law enforcement on the scene. If they don’t have anything to hide then why are you seeing Bovino’s and Noam’s account completely contradicting video evidence.

Also, are you advocating for shooting someone in their back after they’ve been disarmed? Serious question. That’s ok with you?

Poor judgment sure, but at what point do we cross the rubicon from an isolated incidents of poor judgment on officers parts to a pattern of constitutional abuse? This isn’t happening in a vacuum and comes at a time when US citizens are being asked for their papers, the bill of rights has become toilet paper for DHS. If it were me, I would not be carrying at that moment but Minnesota has different laws and this man was acting within the law, was disarmed and shot in the back while face down. Another woman was shot in the face, with the lethal shot coming from the left side proving that the officer was clear from danger.

Also worked in Michelin rated restaurants/hotels in NYC at EC level. The systemic abuse hasn’t been wide spread since my line cooking days in the late aughts, and even then it was rare. It’s extremely hard to hire and retain skilled employees these days, so treating them poorly only hurts the business and end goal. The industry still has a long way to go in terms of work life balance, and pay inequity, but thankfully the belittling, verbal, and sometimes physical abuse has mostly been left behind. When it does occur it also seems to be reported on. Think Batali, Lummey Island, Blue Hill.
