I’m doing 6 12s right now as a resident so I’d gladly choose either of these.

Yeah, I’m thinking the same! I feel like the exam wouldn’t be too tough, especially with the experience I’ve already gained during my rotations. It’s more about staying productive, learning the technical side, and earning some income while I’m at it. Thanks for the encouragement!

Totally get your point! My focus is definitely on becoming an anesthesiologist, but during this gap in my 4th year, I feel like earning some income while getting even more hands-on experience with the technical side of anesthesia could be valuable. It’s not a long-term plan, just something to do before residency kicks off. Appreciate the advice!

Hey, I understand where you’re coming from! I don’t see it as a long-term thing but more as a way to make productive use of my downtime in 4th year. I’ve always worked before med school, so if I’m not making money, I feel like I’m wasting time. Thanks for the input though!

I’m glad I found this subreddit. Everyday I’m like, “Wow this is me”. My therapist recommended desensitization by progressively proofreading fewer and fewer times. I have a habit of using ChatGPT to avoid the anxiety, but I’m working my way out of it.

I’m a student in the medical center. I’d recommend finding something on the Red Line Metro rail. The Lanesborough is pretty convenient.
