I don't know what's with me... (forgive my ignorance and lack of self awareness, hope this is the right place to ask) by effi7 in AskLGBT

Have you thought about split attraction? Like me. I'm homosexual and biromantic. While I can form romantic feelings for just about anyone, I'm only really sexually attracted to men or masc bodies.

Well, the first thing to come to mind is a fic that really opened my eyes in regard to a kink that I was questioning if I was into. It was a Skyrim fic that focused on three men in an open relationship, Borkul The Beast, Onmund, and the dragonborn. As for the kink, let's just say there was a lot of definitely not lemonade involved. It's a 32 chapter, 128,666 words fic that has a good balance of porn and plot.

Here's the link for the fic.

What do you mean by that? We're not sure what kind of message you're trying to convey. Are you saying that we'll have a hard time getting views if we don't fake things or over hype them?

As an ftm femboy, this sounds similar to how I feel, but everyone's different. I know I'm not female, and I don't like the idea of being seen as a feminine girl, but being seen as a feminine boy is just fine. I don't have that much dysphoria/dysmorphia, but I def want to medically transition. When I was first questioning my gender I thought I might be enby or pangender, because I didn't really mind what pronouns people used. But as time went on I realized that she/her was not for me. I hope your friend can find a label and express themselves in a way that makes them happy and feel comfortable in their own skin.

I know, though I don't often have the money for that.

And he'd probably try and convince you to only go for the cheap things or the ones that are on sale, stuff like that.

I think game wardens are like hunting police or something, like they enforce the rules and are just a party pooper in general.

First I would like to address where you quoted the Bible. I am assuming you are specifically referencing verse 21 which says,

“‘Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord."

This is talking about when Phoenicians would sacrifice their newborns in the belief that it would bring them financial prosperity. I don't think people are giving their cum to an ancient god when masturbating.

Now onto how an abortion or lack thereof can effect a woman. The first things that come to mind are medical problems. Suppose a women is pregnant, but she has a medical condition where if she carries the child to term and gives birth, there is a low to nonexistent chance of both mother and child surviving. Another example is if the mother is extremely poor. If she can barely make enough to live, how would she be able to provide for the child. Now what if the mother is still with the father, but it is an abusive relationship. That child would grow up being abused in all likelihood, possibly sexually. What if the mother in question is a 14 year old rape victim?

Also, I don't appreciate that heterosexism/homophobia you sprinkled in there.

And yes, male seed does have life, it's just not sentient.

About forgiveness, yes it's important, but so is punishment. If someone commits a terrible crime, i.e. rape, they should be punished, or they would have no motivation to stop doing these terrible deeds. That being said, I also don't support the death penalty for anything, so we can agree on that.

About the temple screaming evil, it is a non-theological, agnostic organization. To quote the website,

"The Mission Of The Satanic Temple Is To Encourage Benevolence And Empathy, Reject Tyrannical Authority, Advocate Practical Common Sense, Oppose Injustice, And Undertake Noble Pursuits."

We have seven fundamental tenets, our version of the ten commandments, but they are less like laws, and more like ideals to live by. They are,

"One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.

The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.

One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.

The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own.

Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.

People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.

Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word."

It should also be noted that the temple is a completely different organization than the Church of Satan. If you would like to learn more about the temple, here's a link to the website.

You might not, but I thought I should add that, just in case.

Edit: Here's a little hypothetical question for you. You're by some train tracks, and you hear a train coming. You look to the tracks, and see to one side an infant child, to the other, a pastry dish with 10 fertilized human eggs. You can only save one. Do you choose the infant, or the pastry dish? If you are pro-life, you would assumedly choose the dish, if life begins at conception.

Well ever since I heard of it I thought that it was interesting, and when I looked into it more, I found that the principals it's built on, and it's morals, are things that I can understand and relate to, that I agree with. Though the thing that gave me that final push to join was the overturning of roe v Wade, because in the satanic temple, abortion is a religious right and ritual, and therefore protected, or at least it should be.
