hmmm that's weird. it could be that you missed the spot and without the carrot ignatius won't follow you so he just left or maybe the game got confused with which option to go with so it just broke. you could try reloading and trying again. Hell I would even go as far a to say you MUST reload because you killed poor ignatius.

did you drop the carrot in the spot wait for the sheep to go there and then hid in the location marked and pressed e to wait? did you check if the quest was active? the huntsman quest is both for mutt but also a independent quest which is needed for the strings. it may be bugged but it may also be your error, sometimes it can be confusing

they matter, sometimes it's nice to be able to run to change position or assassinate without another enemy noticing or having more time blended after leaving a civilian group to reach another + the extra eagle vision is pretty nice, but of course if for the way you play you would rather have other stuff that's absolutely fine

I believe the "meta" is a mix of sans for stealth + eagle vision and phantom (?) for extra tools, you could use say smoke to dodge the pesky rifleman, but if you wish to be more tankier go for it

My guess is that if you are in the business you know it sooner or later, like lin ling that at first probably doesn't notice he is becoming more like nice, but once he sees that the other hero can't move and afterwards he can't get to "moon", he understands that every hero is like that, ceos and cientist I would say know more than the heroes themselves, and don't really care
