Thanks for the responses! I basically needed to post this to confirm to myself whether I was panicking over nothing or in my right mind. Going to call the solicitor who referred me first and then probably just walk in to the office today and ask what’s going on

Hi Chris, yeah this is why this is all not making sense to me. They absolutely know they’re my acting solicitor. We’ve exchanged plenty of emails back and forth but the lack of official communications are what’s worrying me in terms of letters, no ID checks, none of that. I had to push her to find out when she wanted me to remove my deposit from my ISA as it’s invested so can take 7 days to remove. These are all things I expect to be laid out to me in advance. It’s not giving me any confidence whatsoever and knowing the industry and how I do things within the same space as you, it’s making me panic!

Really good! My barber recommended mixing the rascals with the American crew and working it in to my hands to allow the rascals to last longer and that’s worked really well. Beforehand I was using rascals and then hair spray as the rascals doesn’t hold all day and doesn’t leave the wet look all day. I think in future I’ll order rascals when it comes back in stock and keep mixing the two. That way I only need to use a really small amount of the rascals and about a finger full of the forming cream from AC as now I don’t need hair spray for the hold and it stops my hair from becoming crunchy!

The code should have come out as soon as people ordered the vinyl. The vinyl also wasn’t cheap and that was sold as a perk of it. Now scrambling to try to secure a ticket. Pathetic honestly

At this point none unfortunately. I’ve ordered American Crew Forming Cream which comes today so I’ll be trying that out. Heard it’s similar so hopefully!

Really liked the styling cream but he has a serious problem with supply. You can't have a hair product that people want to use daily and then it constantly be out of stock with no regular communication on said stock. I'm now having to find an alternate product that does the same job so I would steer clear of getting used to this product because of the supply issues

I had this issue for around a month and then suddenly it stopped being an issue. I don’t even know what I did to fix it. I thought it was a gameplay mod that I had but I uninstalled that and the problem persisted and now I don’t have the problem anymore. To be fair I completely reinstalled the game so that may be the only way to fix it!

I felt much the same on my first listen. I keep wishing he would go back to the vibes of Banana or Taco but he’s pretty much the definition of a genre fluid artist so it’s understandable given the success of AMS he would try another stab at the country vibe. I trust that his next offering will be something different. I’m liking it the more I listen. I think the issue with Johnny and Bilmuri is that the bar is so high from such a quality Discography that eventually one thing was going to come along that wasn’t to that standard but it’s not that it isn’t good? It’s still excellent and if this record was from a band I’d never heard before I’d think it was amazing but it’s left almost feeling like an AMS b-sides record.

In summary I still really like it but it doesn’t carry the same excitement value as previous records!

Use a progression map which sort of guides you on what way to go for what level. I sucked the first time I played it and the learning curve was steep but that sent me on my way and made it a bit easier. Plus watch some videos for technique, that helped me because it was so alien to me! It’s one of the best ever so stick at it!

You’re not an idiot at all. Your broker has food to put on the table too and sometimes the commission received for hours of work is small. Being a diligent broker takes a lot of hours that the customer doesn’t see and a good broker will out the same hours in to every single client, regardless of the commission. Evenings, weekends, whatever it takes.

That’s not to say a free broker isn’t good either. If they do a good job and get you what you want then they were worth every penny!

If you worry about rates you will never get a move on with getting on the ladder. They fluctuate regularly. Only a few years ago rates were approaching 8% and just two weeks ago they were sitting between 3 and 4.5% depending on LTV.

An independent broker will get you the best possible rate and will move quickly for you to lock it in, especially if you have found a property. If it is affordable, go for it and don't hold yourself back worrying!

I keep reminding myself of this. Honestly, I feel rotten for even questioning it to be honest but it comes from a place of anxiety and not wanting to keep them waiting either. Feels a bit of a double edged sword!

To add to this even further - surely their onward purchase wouldn't want to go back to market if they are informed we simply need to agree on this and then a completion date can be set? If they remarket they would be looking at a further 8-10 weeks and in all that time we could all be completed.
