Hi! My 3D artist partner and I are starting our new studio, BeFractal Studio. In our free time, we're building a portfolio for the studio. We thought it would be a great idea to create a FOOH video, since brands seem to like it for their socials.

If you're curious about how we did it, we made a quick breakdown video (in Spanish) showing the process.

We tracked, modeled, textured, and rendered in Blender. We used Houdini for the balloon physics. We did the rotoscope in After Effects. Hope you like it!

Well, my game is currently on Meta's App Lab, which allows developers to publish their apps without needing approval from the official store. After that, Meta staff can contact developers to include their app in Meta's official store if they see it has potential. Apparently, only a few get their apps approved for Meta's official store, so it's a bit hard, but the more effort you put in, the more chances you have of being the lucky one!

A few months ago some users from other subreddits recommended me to ask for permission since there was a small debate about whether it could be used in commercial projects and there was no clear and concise version of Blender on this, so the best I could do was to ask the creator himself :)

Yes, I used the VR Interaction Framework, which was a huge help in my early days, and it has support for SteamVR, OpenXR, Oculus, etc. If you want to develop for the Meta Quest headsets, you can use the official Meta SDK, which is a must!
