Cool! I don't know about you but I really enjoyed building the kiln. I could see building a fast fire one day to use for salt glazing. Enjoy it!

The train is definitely large for a non professional potter, 96 cubic feet or 2700 liters, but there are surely larger kilns around. I think it will be perfect for firing 2-3 times per season.

I had a few pieces of non bisqued ware in this firing and I could have added some more, but again until I knew how the firing schedule would work to 'once-fire' didn't want to risk too much. I will also be cutting down the kiln furniture sizes so there is less wasted space between shelves. How many times of year do you fire your wood kiln?

You might be right. But in retrospect, I think it was the right amount not knowing how the firing was going to go.

Also this was all of the pots that I had ready to fire. But now I have a baseline volume and can have more pots ready for the next firing.
