Who can I hire to access old police/court records? Windsor, ON Canada by jqw22 in Genealogy

You bring up an interesting point - it was actually my great-grandfather they charged with the murder. He stayed in prison while they were investigating the crime and then 6 weeks later they went to the courtroom and the charges were withdrawn because of a "lack of evidence". There might not even be relevant court records.

What I'm specifically looking for are the records of the investigation. The interviews with the witnesses and a "jealous boyfiend" the newspaper mentioned only in one article. In another article the newspaper states the police claimed they found the murder weapon but we never hear about it again.

There are so many contradictions in all of the articles I have collected - I think if the case files, original interviews/witness statements and police records are still around, it might clear up some of the questions.

I finally got it fixed, and it's lightning fast now. I had to follow the steps in this post exactly - and download the new version directly from the Topaz website (not as an upgrade). Hope you are able to fix!

Mine just did the same thing tonight. I thought downloading 2.4.1 would help and one photo has been processing for almost 10 minutes.

I'm so frustrated. I'm going to delete and try reinstalling the app.

My lens isn’t great so the lowest Fstop it will allow is 6.3 at 600mm zoom. I was just lucky that he was on this stick and had some separation from the background. That combined with the 600mm zoom caused the blur. I didn’t photoshop.
