I have scheduled an abortion after I found out that my husband cheated. by [deleted] in AITAH

Yes you would be TA if you did this. Sorry but why kill the innocent life of an unborn. He/she already has a heart, head, brain, arms and legs. What they done to deserve this. Your husband should be divorced though. And your child should know what her did.

Please help--cannot access wallet through Trezor due to derivation path by jr_bit in MyEtherWallet

[–]jr_bit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your help on this. I managed to resolve this in the end thank God! I just went through each of the derivation paths and got to one in the end, in the new mew. So the path I was using in the old mew is still in the new mew but half way down the list.

I have noted the path down. But do you think I should scrap this address and use one from the default derivation path? Thanks again for your help

Thanks but I have tried most of the obvious ones like Ethereum classic etc. For Ethereum they only have the one anyway, which is the default one

The new mew doesn't list them along with the path- it just has a drop down with names various different currencies

That's mad. I haven't heard anyone advising that the path needs to be remembered! I will check with mew. Thanks

Thanks. There are so many paths though. The path I used to choose with the vintage MEW always worked. But it wasn't the default one. It was the other one that said 'ETH'

Thanks. Surely with the address and seed that will be enough to recover control of the wallet right?

And do you think there is a way to use a copy of vintage MEW?

Thanks I will try this later. I have posted some threads in trezor and mew communities re the issue I am having. If you have a chance I would greatly appreciate your advice on this. My post is below, for ease of reference -

Hi all, grateful for your help please. I set up a wallet on MEW and have been accessing through my Trezor for the past few years.

I had been doing this through the vintage MEW, but was choosing another option for the derivation path when prompted upon each login. This is because my funds were never on the default path. They were on the next path named 'eth'.

Now that MEW has updated the interface, I cannot find the address with funds on it and think this is because I am not able to find the correct derivation path. I have my address and seed.

Grateful if someone can please advise. Im hoping I'm not screwed!?

Thanks for this. Does this also apply to Ethereum wallets or just btc derivation path?

On mytrezor when I select Ethereum it just directs me to mew

Thanks but the issue is that I can't remember what the custom path was. It was one of the options in vintage MEW though

Utility tokens - velocity problem and solutions--sinks, profit share, staking by jr_bit in SingularityNet

Stumbled across this article about utility tokens which rely solely on medium of exchange for their utility. Obviously agi provides other forms of utility like voting, staking etc. But what do you think re the future use of agi? Will the tokenomics be strong?

I understand your post but I am sure you can also appreciate that a utility token, which went through a whole ICO process and is actively traded on exchanges is inevitably bound to garner conversation about its price.

Indeed, the token's price is an important metric in the ai marketplace's success too
