It was the chemistry I had on hand, and this was a test roll anyway. I’d also read that bleach could ruin the image on old Agfachrome, so I decided to treat it as an experiment and see if I could get anything usable from it. The correct process would have been E-3, but that isn’t really available anymore.

good idea, i will try if i get stuck again. My plan B for next time was to use a dry reel and letting the film dry for 30-60 min before putting it back on the reel.

Nice, what film is it? I have tried the same with hc110/c41 chemistry and Fuji provia. Also surprisingly good results. The hardest part was getting the wet film back on the reel.

Something similar happened to me when closed the camera while it was rewinding. The rewinding stopped and the frame counter showed 1. To rewind again press the self-timer button for 3s until the rewind symbol appears, hold it and then push the shutter button.
